Would definitely agree. I think Lopez has been fairly solid, but doesn't have nearly the offensive output as ZaZa

Outside of the KP pick Phil has done a complete **** job of running the knicks. The Afflalo and O'Quinn signings are the only good things he's done so far he's **** the bed with all other trades and transactions

Wall spent $48K in a Dallas strip club the night before. Boy was gone too.

He played like he had a hangover

. Lethargic and no effort.
He's been wilding for 2 years straight now.

I'm actually surprised he's managed to stay out of any real trouble. That ***** does THE MOST in the club

@NBATV: According to @Matt_Winer, JJ was in a hurry because the last Clipper player into the locker room has to dance. JJ wasn't having any of that.

So is KP the only good move?
Or is Afflalo and OQuinn Phils only good move?

How many good moves has Phil had, again? Kinda confused me you did

Yo what happened to Nikola.

Does he have an American Hangover or something? Dude is sloppy. Dude is buns man
he started hot but he's not getting NO plays called for him INSIDE of the 3 point. Besides that, he's only driving 1.7 times a game. While he's shooting 34% from 3s, he will shoot 36 feet away. He's not attacking anymore, he's not driving anymore, he's attempting toof many pump fakes and while he does, he is hitting 14% after pump faking. When he doesn't pump fake, he is hitting 41% he is not used to this new coach. Thibs has more discipline I valves than hoiberg because the Bulls always Rave about how free the offense is, players are taking advantage of it. Niko is not a bust, he's just gotta learn the kinks. He's a sophomore only

the nuggets trading away lawson ruined him and while it doesnt seem like it helped the nuggets, theyre young. will barton is a stud. and i truly believe malone has them giving them their all for him. denver can be a good team in the next several years, but a lot of that relies on whether mudiay can turn out to be an efficient basketball player.

Phil is a real mixed bag in all honesty. Going into the draft he was horrific, and selling the Knicks Montana Ocean Front Property. He's saved himself a bit, but still a long way to go.

Fisher - Bad move. Phil is too committed to his own system and going after "his guys" at times. That has done him in with Fisher.

The Chandler for Calderon deal was hilariously bad. Just dreaded. There's no reason to think Knicks made out at all. They got shafted every which way there. They were not even tanking when he made the trade, which makes it even worse. The two picks Phil got for it. Early stinks. Little Big Greek Freak is an unknown commodity, but I get needing to take a chance there based on the name.

Galloway - Undrafted, but a solid pick up. I don't think he's starter good, but a solid role player, sure. Unfortunately he has regressed a bit this year from last year, think his stats last year were the "decent player on bad team" multiplier. But for an undrafted player, he's good.

The JR & Shump trade was necessary. Absolutely 100% necessary. But out of all the moving pieces in that trade, he got Lance Thomas & Lou Amundsen.. That was a failure.

KP pick took some serious balls. I was very wrong about it. KP has the tools, and Phil had the right system (back to being fully committed to his system. Which helps him and hurts him at times) that he had one of the places where KP could shine. I think multiple teams in the top 10 if they took KP, it would have looked bad for him. But having Melo, somebody who takes a lot of the pressure of the defense off of him, and being a big who can move the ball, he fits in NY. My curiosity is how he fares 4 or 5 years from now, if he has to be the # 1 option.

Jerian Grant for THJr trade was genius by Phil, but on the other hand just as stupid by Atlanta. Not sure why the hell they made that deal at all. So I give Phil as much credit for that as I do for Atlanta being stupid.

Afflalo was at the time a low risk smart decision, but he's stunk so far. Gotta take the credit back. Because even though Afflalo hasn't been good, he's going for a bigger contract next year.

O'Quinn, another low risk decision. Unlike Affllao, this turned out as a success. Not sure how far O'Quinn can grow, but has shown he's a quality role player. Has increased his efficiency defensively.

Robin Lopez was a smart signing, not too much money. Has been really solid on defense. But overall, you have to have wanted more from him. Still time for him to turn it around completely, I'm not too worried, but I wouldn't say you should be fully happy if he's your starting Center right now.

Derrick Williams was a risk of seeing, if you could be the one to turn him around. I get it. Hasn't really worked, but I got the move. Think he paid too much, but I get it.

Getting Vujacic was another bad decision on the being too committed to the system.

Knicks are better than last year clearly. My biggest problem with Phil, is that he is making all of these moves that fit his system, who he is, and what he wants. He's 70 years old, and we all know he's not going to be there forever. So he signed a 5 year deal, so he's gutting the thing from the ground up. For his system. What happens when he's gone? You're going to hire another guy who follows his system like his bible? Once Phil leaves, it will put the Knicks at a serious crossroads of where they want to go in the NBA. And if they don't get the homerun they need this upcoming season, they should consider going in that new direction starting in 2016-17 instead of spending the next 3 years muddling along building something in Phil's image that won't be seen through.

Okc need to take notes from these phx jerseys.. The atl jerseys..

Any jerseys with 3 letters across the chest

Funny how those Mudiay/Russell debates slowed down.

5 games in ****** wouldn't shut up about it.
I been bringing it up every other night only to have a few still try to say Russell "isn't producing enough to warrant a #2 pick"

The worst part of all of it, is how bad Mudiay is shooting.. He shoots worse than Kobe from the field. And Mudiay has the ability to get to the basket, and of course was born 3 months before Kobe was drafted.

ESPN's Value Added stat, Mudiay is ranked 326th.. Out of 326.

yikes

but to be fair, going from chinese air to denver's lack of air is probably killing his lungs

Fisher: Awful. That's all I'm gonna say about that piece of ****.

Mavs trade: Chandler didn't want to be in NY anymore so a deal was imminent. Not a good move at all though.

Galloway: The lone bright spot from last year. Agreed about being nothing more than a solid backup.

Cavs trade: JR & Shump also didn't want to be here anymore. Phil said they weren't willing to learn & adapt so he got rid of them. Lance Thomas has actually been a solid player though. Gives 110% every time he's on the floor & does the dirty work not many guys want to do.

KP: Can't say enough good things about him. I was obviously one of the people to boo him on draft night but after watching video on him a couple days later I decided to let him play before I judge the pick. It's looked like a home run so far.

Hawks trade: THJr is what he is. An inefficent shooter & that's basically it. Grant hasn't looked great but he's a rookie PG. I think he'll end up being nothing more than a solid player, maybe a starter.

Afflalo: Low risk, low reward move. He will most likely opt out after this season but he's been an average player this season. Gives us another guy that can get a bucket when needed.

KOQ: Was in Fisher's doghouse for 2 weeks for Kevin ******* Seraphin for whatever reason. I like him a lot, especially at 4/$16M. The whole bench plays better & with more energy when he's on the floor. Nice shooting touch for a big & can make passes other bigs usually can't.

Lopez: Hasn't been good at all. I expect Phil to move him before next season & we'll go with KP at the 5. He slows down the offense & the ball tends to stick in his hands in the low post. Rarely plays in crunch time cause KP at the 5 with Melo at the 4 is our best lineup.

DWill: Brings energy & pace to a slow offense. Fisher hasn't given him consistent minutes but when he plays he's done good things. He gets lost on defense too much for my liking.

Vujacic: **** him. I thought Phil brought him in to have more of a coaching role but he legit gets minutes over Grant/Galloway sometimes. I absolutely hated every second he's been on the floor.

--

Phil built a solid roster capable of a low playoff seed. It's up to Fisher to get the most out of what he's given & put guys in a position to succeed, which he hasn't.
