I would be completely fine trading Shabazz, I'm not as high on him as some are for how glaring some of his weaknesses seem to be and how those - in starter's level playing time - would seemingly cancel out the positives.
Like, your unique skillset is great and all but if you're going to shoot 27 percent from three, then play dreadful on the other end, and average 0.6 assists in Per-36 measurements ... I'd indulge in those trade offers/interest that Milt Newton's "supposedly" getting. What's happened this season is exactly why I wanted to deal him after his 39-game shortened season in 2014-15 where he was shooting 39% from three when he went out with a season-ender. I knew we weren't ever going to see anything close to that ever again.
Here's a crazy stat that's sort of meaningless but sort of strange to the degree that I don't know if it is meaningless:
In Minnesota's 14 losses - Shabazz is 0-16 from three
In Minnesota's 9 wins - Shabazz is 9-17 from three
