They're so defensive about it to. all you ever hear is "Americas pastime blah blah". "You have to appreciate the nuances of the game blah blah". "it's a Beautiful game blah"

i understand the game just fine, it's fun to go down to the local park & drink some beer and screw around playing it with some friends on a sunday afternoon, but thats about it. 

when you got this gentleman right here, playing on the biggest stage, at the highest level of the "sport", well that pretty much says it all
