Yall MIGHT want to watch Jennings here.......

Lou Williams didn't sleep in the Skirvin Hotel (allegedly haunted OKC hotel opposing teams stay in), because he was scared.

That is worse than when the Knicks all roomed up together (Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry, and Nate Robinson iirc) because they thought they were hearing noises and said they couldn't get any sleep and that's why they lost
Help me understand why teams even book stays at this place at all?

alright what's going on? playing defense and moving the ball, rockets stop playing, get back to sucking

It is my understanding the host team books opposing teams' hotels.

I have seen a video where someone, may have even been Presti or maybe it was Cornet the mayor, was laughingly like, "ahhahhahh gives us another advantage tehee and we'll keep using it," but I can't say for certain. Either way, very certain the Thunder book teams into that hotel. It's honestly not even the closest hotel, there's a Marriott that literally connects to the arena, players could walk to the floor without even having to load into a bus or go outside. Skirvin is a few blocks, still easily walking distance really but I know teams take the bus because they drive down into the arena under the floor.

I have never stayed there, its like $200 a night :x This is the old video related to the Knicks incident referenced above, but I am pretty sure the new GM and them play up the haunted angle now, people even ask for the 10th floor. Reading even travelocity and expedia reviews, some mentions of happenings, but more than anything just seems like an old, dirty, hotel.

and WHY do the opposing teams get to pick the hotel? Why is that even a rule?

Maybe the assumption they know the area best and will pick the most convenient place up to NBA standards, in good faith. Like I don't think any team is troll-y enough to put the visiting team in the Motel Slevin. Just a business thing I guess, schedule comes out, goes up to the business folks at the team to the hotel to block off the x amount of rooms needed on those nights, the city is probably involved too since typically it's the same hotel in multisport cities. I know the NBA has imminent domain in those cities too during events. It was a big deal during the finals in 2012, there was a lot of construction going on, but an event of that magnitude the NBA brings probably 1,000s of rooms a night and everyone who had weddings, bar mitzvahs, parties, tailgating parties, etc. in the downtown hotels was getting booted.

NO would have to play like .600 ball And have 4-5 teams ahead of them play under .500 for the rest of the season to make the 8th seed.

Neither will happen.

I need to finish my fourth quarter with a 9.5% gross increase compared to 14' qtr 4 to hit this tax break I've been eyeing, will I make it or should I just cruise these last two weeks and let the year end easy.

Thanks ahead of time too, appreciated

A lot of teams stay in San Francisco when they play the Warriors.

The Rockets had to take a ferry across the Bay when the bridge was closed many years ago.

Let's not spin it like the Warriors "use a haunted hotel too."

They need an excuse to why their fav team isn't good enough to beat the Warriors

Are you ever happy wooster?

Can't lie, I love seeing you post in here just because I'm like "is it a different style post...nah same ****"

Live a little bro, you appear to hate life

Let me rephrase that, you're always defending or attacking, you never just chill and join in on convos.

Just old lady complaining type **** G, let your hair down or I may ban you.

They can't give Portis more time though. There are legit options in front of him that they are super invested in at this point, they need to be ready for playoffs, Portis only hope is that some injuries free up some time.....he's dope but, the right move is him on the bench, no doubt

I don't wanna hear that **** even tho I know it's what teams do with its young players when vets are in front of them. Gibson been with them for years and hasn't helped them win ****..everytime I've watched Portis he's looked ready to produce when given the PT.
