can you comprehend your own team though? go back a few and look at the published quotes about how JIMMY wanted to play down the stretch because his team mates weren't getting it done.

Dude is a no body after signing that contract. At best, he had some stints being a defensive player guarding Lebron and working to 'earn' a contract. Post 'oscar academy', he's been 'OKAY' and nothing special. Notorious for rubbing his team-mates the wrong way and trying to flex about how he's the main guy on the team.

That's the dilemma. Don't you see? The Bulls have pretty much moved on from Thib and the D.Rose era.
But the deeper issue here is the fact that Butler has not impressed/lead enough. IMHO Butler was no where near as impressive as Rose. Butler is frustrated, he feels he has the privilege to point fingers. Because of this, Butler has thrown his team-mates under the bus.
Butler is probably ahead of Rose in discussions/stats, but it's only because Rose has taken a nose dive. Aside from that fact, Butler has not exhibited anything close to being a franchise guy. If he was, well he better learn how to lead.

Again, people don't understand, nor do they realize. Pau Gasol has been the savior for this team. No one will talk about him, but he's been the anchor night in and night out. He's had a lot more mileage on him than probably Butler and Rose combined, yet they refuse to talk about him. On the low end though, Gasol has mentioned how he will test free agency. That tells me he no longer feel the Bulls are in contention; he is probably correct too.

Butler not good enough yet to be saying stuff like this. Got to be at least Melo level (no knock on Melo) to say this kind've stuff. Which means very few players in the league has that privilege.

Butler avg 21 points a game, 5 rebounds and 3 assists (Melo avg 21, 7 and 3)
Pau avg 15 and 10
Butler is the the leading scorer for the Bulls....Drose has been playing terrible until a week ago and Pau can't shoot

He's not a franchise player. Yet.
And nobody's saying DRose should still be considered a franchise player. Butler's clearly the best player on the team. Why even bring up Rose and Pau?

More referring to how he comes off to other players. He runs the risk of singling himself out from the others if he continues to call people out within the team.
