OKC gonna have to play KD and Russ 46 minutes a game in the playoffs. That bench is hot garbage.
 
why didnt kd shoot that? they had 1.3s to get a shot off? worst thing that can happen is a miss

OKC has whiffed on finding a collection of quality role players all at once for five years running now ... in a league where nearly every team - except them - has THOSE, but NOT the much more difficult thing to attain which the Thunder have two of: stars.

And we'd be beyond stupid to deal him or any of the other potential 19-20-21 year olds we're amassing with 55+ mil in cap space to fill in with.

Your idea takes away multiple pieces and half that cap space and less ability to go above the cap when we need to, ala Cleveland and Golden State.

Your idea was shortsighted. No harm, just let it go.
 
You wouldn't trade KD for two first-round draft picks (when what they are or how good they are should have no bearing whatsoever, since the intention is to use them to obtain a star - which KD is...)

And if Russell's a whiff your flexibility is permanent, no actually what would happen in that scenario is you'll overpay for a quality player and it'll compound the problems.
 
This season summed up so far:

Bulls lose to the Pistons twice, lose to the Bucks twice, lose to the Nets, but looking like they going to beat the Thunder twice :lol:

No team plays to the level of their competition more than the Bulls. Frustrating to watch.
