If you hate the Warriors that's fine with me but the way you come out of your way to talk about them is hilarious to me

Mmhmm, sure I do.
Probably 1/50 posts touch your team but, I go out of my way to broach the subject.

Not my fault GSW had an expansion fan draft in 2013 and rounded up a group that we have to read on the daily.

Y'all some real ones

Of course Phila would pick a guy like Ish.

And how did I miss the Dantoni to Phila thing? When did that/this happen?
I didn't even know until today bro
Hinkie might as well just quit his job after the season ends, Colangelo and D'Antoni run the ship now

Hinkie upon being hired might have only gotten the off-beat rebuilding plan green lighted with out clauses for the team, like:

"if doing this with you - jet skiing into uncharted waters of intentionally losing - but it doesn't return a franchise-changing player in the draft or a East playoff appearance by Year 2/3 (you're not Dj Kh's path to success)... then we can fire or delegate your responsibilities if deemed necessary" - those are the parameters you have to work under."

I mean it's not like this dude was exactly qualified for a job like the Sixers from just face value/what was known of him in 2013. Really, it's a hail mary GM plan if you are Sam Hinkie - a dumb gamble even if it works because it's an extremely careless way to treat a job in basketball that only 30 individuals have at any given time.

It took the Sixers a new GM (Colangelo), more coaching help (D'antoni), a trade (Ish Smith), and an injury to the opposing team's best player to get to win number 2. Today is a good day. 8) #TheComeUp #2023Champs

You're right. Even if it does work this time, you still rely too much on factors outside of your control (where you will land in the lottery, will draft players actually pan out? etc...)

This strategy cannot be broken down into a science and is not a formula for success.

lakers coming for that number 1 spot

in dantoni we trust

So the C's are 17-13, and Isaiah Thomas is averaging 21 with 6 dimes.

Never thought I'd be even considering Zeke as an all star at any point in his career. Wow. What a time.

Aren't these numbers basically in line with what he's been doing most of his career? Had the same stats last year when he had a rep as an empty stats guy

Yeah dude is tripping. Lil zeke can ball and its doesn't shock me one bit if he becomes an all star in the east. Idc if the east teams have a better record, I still think its wayyy easier for a guard to make the east all star team over the west. Look at jrue holiday.

Thomas has played well and deserves credit, but the fact he's the Celtics' best player is one of the reasons they're not a real threat in the East. Can't go far with a 5'8" dude as your go-to guy.

Alec Burks suffered a fractured ankle last night. Out a minimum of six weeks.

The Kings are going to finesse their way to the eight seed now.
