Anyone remember that time RonRon told a story - I think he was with the Rockets at the time - about when he was playing pick up, a fight broke out and someone broke off a table leg and stabbed his buddy in the heart with it. I'm still not sure whether to believe that or not.

Ron was probably on something and was watching WWF.

He's definitely not trash. He's a very capable player and a pretty potent scorer, especially for his size. But I don't see him ever being the starting PG for a true contending team. I think he's best suited for a Jamal Crawford type, scoring 6th man role.

BTW, is IT your new OJ? You keep bringing him up -- seemingly out of nowhere sometimes.

2nd or 3rd for sure. But I just hope all the talk of him being the guy on that team is done, not only do numbers not lie, the eye test doesn't either. If he can realize that Jimmy is the guy and play his role and take what he deserves they would have a future. I think he's gonna go to a team that over pays tho, stabbing the home town in the back while they stood by him sounding foolish all this time.
I think he already does know this.

But the thing is, the offense is predicated on penetrating and no one does it better than Derrick Rose and when he does it, the defense will collapse immediately.

Most nights it'll be Jimmy Butler, which he'll be fine. Some nights, it'll be him. Like the other game when Jimmy was playing horrible against the 2nd game against the Raptors, I believe.

Rose carried the team that night. It'll be on and off but Butler is already getting most of the plays ran for him so there that goes.

Regardless of all this talk of who's gonna be who, Derrick Rose & Jimmy Butler is the best back court in the Eastern Conference.

 I didn't even realize it.

But I was listening to Woj's podcast this morning ("The Vertical. Givoni was on there as well) and he had Zeke on there which made me look at some stuff that he's doing this year. Knew he was doing well, but didn't know he was doing that well. Those are all star numbers, and I never saw All star in the cards for him.

And nope, no one will take OJ. That will forever be my guy

Nah its true. When he said that, the internets fact-checked & found the news story. Very sad.

Potentially. Rose doesn't play enough to warrant them that crown. DeRozan and Lowry at least play every night. That's like when dudes were saying that about wall and Beal, Beal doesn't even play.

Who would have ever considered Myrie a starting PG on a contender? Let lil zeke cook. He's playing well. He beat the odds as a 5-8 PG and a 60th pick

IT still trash.  Hero ballin chucker with a little man complex who plays zero defense. Garbage time stat stuffer

I'm saying. Kings let that man go, and now he's the head man on a team that's 19-15 putting up great numbers as opposed to the Suns who are in disarray and the kings, who are 14-21.

Flourish IT. Flourish.
