Someone kill Clarkson's agent. Lol. I knew it was funny that he was already up for a new contract. Agent shouldn't have let him sign a 2 yr..

Yes. This has be posted a couple of times already.

Other teams can only offer up to $57M. However, he and the Lakers can agree to a max contract, which will be more than $57M.

Agent should have asked for a three year deal. But that wasn't likely considering Clarkson was drafted lower and had to play his way on the team. Even though Draymond was also a 2nd round pick...he was considered a steal and likely apart of gilolden state's future. The lakers sort of lucked into Clarkson.
 
I feel like the contract situation hurts both Clarkson and the Lakers. I've *****ed enough times about it in the Lakers thread.

FYI: Teams can only sign second round picks to three or four year contracts if they are under the cap. The Lakers could have done this, but they used the cap space instead to claim Boozer last summer. Hence, why Clarkson got a two year contract.

Thankfully the Lakers seem to have learned from their mistake last summer because they signed Anthony Brown to a three year contract over the summer.

He did sign a 2 year deal. This is year 2.

I meant they shouldn't* have let him sign a 2 yr. If he had just signed a 3 yr which is usually customary he wouldn't be hampered by that Gilbert provision.

Speaking of Boozer, I'd take him on the Wizards over Nene.

Wish there was more front court depth so they could DNP-CD his ***. He's such a waste.

Patty was EXTRA scared, could have costed them their lives too claiming definitively they were te same "suspects" who showed up last week around closing and had stolen plates
