Dudes should definitely not be "bragging" about DLO's season, I hope there wasn't too much of that going on. My thing is, he's playing solid for a rookie. I don't know if I see perennial All-Star either, but look at someone like Mike Conley. I feel like he is generally respected and looked at by NT (outside of @Chester McFloppy
) in high regard. I don't see why Russell couldn't be that caliber of a guard

I definitely don't think dude is having a historically bad year for a #2 pick. I also argue that there are only two or three guys at MOST that I would have taken before Russell

Part of the Mike Conley's respect comes from the fact that he's humble, considered underrated, a good defender and a key contributor on a gritty good team. Nobody hates the Grizzlies.

I have a hard time imaging dudes respecting or calling d-lo underrated after doing hotline bling dances, playing no defense, living the Hollywood life, acting like a star already and having cuts in his eyebrows .

Perception is everything on NT.

That letter was hilariously obvious that Wiggins was getting shipped out. How you exclude the #1 pick and a prospect that highly regarded. Yet you include Dion ******* Waiters

Freeze been steady plotting on some True Detective season 1 ish

You right about NT's perception

I was just trying to use a real life comparison. If DLO pans out to be a Mike Conley status guard it would have been a fine pick and solid career. Don't have to be an All-Star to be a real good player

IMO I feel he could very well be an All-Star some day

Can't wait for Mudiay to return though

The Draymond hype this year is so consistent with the Warriors rise overall. So sudden and accelerated. Like, I don't recall him even being in the discussion for top 5 at the position even last year. Now there's a good amount of people basically calling him the best PF in the league.

Last year he was nearly DPOY. But he wasn't a great shooter and wasn't a huge part of the offense.

This year he's playing the same caliber defense, shooting 41% from 3 and averaging more than 7 assists as a PF - while racking up multiple triple doubles and being part of one of the greatest starts in history.

What's the big deal? He's gotten a lot better - arguably a top PF right now. Has nothing to do with leadership or hype.

The good games D-lo has had that I've seen mostly have been semi competitive games. Like last night, he showed heart and balled. And typically, I'd give him his due. It's fun to hate on him a lil bit...so I'll throw a snide comment here and there

. But I really can't hate on good basketball.

When dudes run out posting highlight videos of 6/17 shooting nights and 14pts in a blowout loss with the majority of the points in garbage time....Imma call it out. When he's 5/22 in his last few games....and everybody is quiet...is what's funny to me. But he has a good game, and he's a "future all star" etc.

Parker thru 25 games was a lot better than D-Lo has been this year. And this year, he's coming off a major injury and playing a limited role...so it's a lil different.

All in all, I'm interested to see how D-lo turns out. In either going to eat crow, or look like a genius. That's the fun of this

You do the same thing tho.

You've been rather quiet when Mudiay has had TERRIBLE games this season but be quick to point out Russell's flaws. You were quick on the draw to remind us of Mudiay's abilities when he had a couple decent weeks to begin the year. After that....you ain't been waving that flag as hard.

I know year one don't mean **** in the grand scheme of things...but the numbers say Russell > Mudiay right now.

23 games. Ironic how mudiay comes back when dlo goes down. I actually think he will improve his shooting with the time off, he was working with Mike miller right before he got hurt.

why are people comparing russ to mudiay?

mudiay has been hot garbage this season

he makes dlo look like jason kidd

NT been comparing them since the summer time. Waavy been saying DLO is a historically bad #2 pick (no hate Waavy)

Mudiay supporters been saying Lakers goofed in taking the wrong guard

Dog, Mudiay hasn't played in weeks . I called him out when he wasn't playing well. When he was, and when they went to head and got the better of D-lo...of course I was outchea.

Denver has been the Will Barton show for a month and some change. Mudiay ain't play in a hot minute . Hopefully he's learned some things from the bench...and will come out and show out :pimp:.
