Should be noted that if the playoffs started today, that first round match-up would be.......Thunder-Grizzlies......again lol

Thunder ain't losing to the Grizz or Mavs in the first round. No way. But if i was them, I'd absolutely try to hold off the Clips for that #3 seed....because GSW in the 2nd round is not what the want.

Interested to see who gets the 3 seed. Clips and thunder separated by a half game.

I believe kd is gone too. Russ too. A-friend too.

I notice this too with his body language, but I think it's more of him trying to have that calm I'm hard and tough and don't care about how people view me any more nothing matters type attitude.

I do think he's gone after this year, but he'll have that same attitude when he gets to LA.

LA however, will break him of that before the ASB of his first season. OKC Upper management and PR teams "protect and shield" the Thunder players from the media, cut 90% of their interviews short and even encourage them to "blow off" or "drag" the media.

I can't see LA being okay with this, they are going to get every penny they can from KD, so he better start making some friends in the media, or that media payback is going to be a b

I thought you were just trying to prepare for the worst every time you talked about it. Being pessimistic.

But you really believe he's gone..

Oh no I was serious, I believe 100% he's gone.

I'm a lifer bro.
I'll be repping the Thunder when those Phila type days are here.

My man

It's a foregone conclusion that Durant and Westbrook walk, and the Thunder deserve it.

I can't say I disagree.
When it's all said and done Cleveland failing to surround LBJ with the proper team and Staff will pale in comparison to what the Thunder had and did nothing with.

I mean, all the Coaches out there and you bring in a Rookie, I backed the decision initially but that's more of me understanding that is something that is out of my control so I rooted on knowing I can only worry about things I can control, of which that wasn't.

Welp there's only 1 place he'll go...

Pops champagne until he decides he's going to stick it out in OKC

My opinion is that he'll likely stay. For how long? Who knows.

Warriors isn't happening. Would need to basically do 15 different moves to get it to happen. And if KD goes, logic says you can't just let him leave for nothing, but sometimes not all face saving moves are worth it.

Teams like Wizards & Rockets who were intriguing places for him to go a few months ago, are super uninteresting now, and would beg the question... Why bother to even leave OKC?

Heat could be a tough sell because you'd be dropping Whiteside for KD. Unless you cut Wade loose, and they are not doing that, and don't think KD even considers them without Wade. Wade will take a cut, but not that drastic of a cut, he's learned his lesson enough by leaving money to appease somebody. They'll be cutting it close. But a Dragic-Wade-Winslow-KD-Bosh roster sounds fun on the surface. They'd really also be skating hoping nothing bad happens to Wade, KD or Bosh..

KD ain't washed or anything of that nature.  When you get paid and you're enjoying life, you don't really care about trying to be the best.  His time is over and his window shrank a hole lot.  Being scared about injuries and not playing for Team USA just shows you the type of mindset he has.  Probably will go down in history as a Reggie Miller variant or something.  A big guy who could shoot, score, never defend, and never winning anything either.  Close but no CIGAR.  Literally and figuratively if you catch the drift.

Why didn't you mention LA (the team that makes the most sense) and what moves they'd have to make (none) to get KD.

All they'd have to do is add, no subtraction needed. Adding to the current roster + KD, super easy. Plus, it's LA man.

I know... But I'm also realsitic, if it's LA, they got a small small chance.

Just saying why I think he stays.

First, we stink.. Majority because of Byron, but still, we're young, and not close to a title.

For him to go to LA, they'd have to get 2 Veterans he likes in tow, and a coach he likes.. But you likely don't get those guys to commit unless KD says, I'm coming here.

It's too much of a limbo for me (can't get those guys without KD, and can't get KD without those guys) to think he goes to LA.

He won't need to go to a team that is only close to a title. I believe he will remedy that this year in OKC.

With title in hand, LA makes perfect sense and OKC means even less to him, as he's delivered the intended trophy.

OKC will win the Chip this year, in spite of all their shortcomings. They are still the most qualified team, and they will have their glory.

And if they don't then how does that change it... To you.

He leaves to LA with an even bigger chip on his shoulder,

I think it will be easier to leave with a title, but it won't keep him in OKC for any longer if he doesn't win it this year. Either way, he's gone, with a title he can just save a little more face.

I wish kd and Russ would stay together for their careers. Love watching them play. But unless they get some pieces.....kd is gone
