I wish kd and Russ would stay together for their careers. Love watching them play. But unless they get some pieces.....kd is gone

The Blazers put the final nail in that coffin by trolling the Thunder for Kanter.

They couldn't let Kanter leave because he's a good player and it would piss KD off, the Thunder would go backwards and maybe he'd leave. But matching Kanter has spoiled any of their potential moves going forward.

He won't need to go to a team that is only close to a title. I believe he will remedy that this year in OKC.

With title in hand, LA makes perfect sense and OKC means even less to him, as he's delivered the intended trophy.

OKC will win the Chip this year, in spite of all their shortcomings. They are still the most qualified team, and they will have their glory.

No.

Mini Wolves rant:

To imagine what this team would be under Flip and not Sam just hurts like hell. I don't think Flip would allow this team to shoot this many long twos :x I've only seen highlight packages of certain players but most importantly Wiggins, and seeing how slow everyone runs to their spots and just wait for him to score or somewhat to facilitate is frustrating. Move Tay to the bench or out of Minneapolis please! Having 3 unreliable shooters around Towns and Wiggins is just bad. KG might hit them one in a while but c'mon b!

I know Kmart is out but please let's get some shooters. I can name all the shooters Love had around him the past 5 years but now it's only Kmart and Belly :smh:

And out of my face sports outlet telling me how big of a game Bron had in PHILLY he doesn't care for that city or team. Besides the Warriors Cleveland been playing trash teams.

And Blair Walsh...you ain't @#$% bruuuhhhh

i believed that KD would stay and russell too ........now i have a feeling that KD walks and russell stays...........idk KD has always been the ***** and russell seems like to much of an alpha to feel like he needs to leave the team that drafted him in order to win...........russell got balls , kd dont , kd will pull a lebron and probably take some less money to play with some superstars ........(gsw) lowkey want the warriors to win 75 games this year , KD to go over on a 2 year deal and then regress , while continuing to be the beta on his team , while having to deal with the media and blogs on how KD went to the warriors and made them worse lol . Im not even so high on KD anymore , give me westbrook ANY day of the week

im not going to lie , if he stays i will have a lot more respect for KD again , but i miss the days when players werent bouncing around teams (smh @ shaq , one of my favorite players but i blame him for starting this trend) someone probably did it before him but i was too young . I hope westbrook stays and doesnt make me look like an idiot lol. /endrant im still sleepy

That put back by Three 6 Latvia was SICK :x

Rudy Gobert with an open court for a dunk is how I imagine if you try to teach Groot how to dribble a basketball

You almost had me for a second there, then you just went off the deep end

Why didn't you mention LA (the team that makes the most sense) and what moves they'd have to make (none) to get KD.

All they'd have to do is add, no subtraction needed. Adding to the current roster + KD, super easy. Plus, it's LA man.

Because you're adding him to Clarkson, Nance, Randle, and Nick Young(?), a bunch of guys that could be cool individual pieces for teams that are already good, but a dumpster while they're together. I'm sure living in LA is fantastic, but living in LA and being a loser isn't. Based on that (and what Essential mentioned about the Wizards and Rockets currently), staying in OKC looks like the best option.

They would have to get rid of Barnes, Bogut and Iguodala to have a shot at Durant. Probably lose Ezeli too.

OKC's problem has been their big men for the most part. They got to the Finals w/ Kendrick Perkins as their 5, imagine if they had a better center

KD doesn't have and may never get that killer mentality, which sucks because w/ his height and shooting ability, he'd be a monster if he had that "I'm here to rip heads off" attitude. Give KD Russy's aggressiveness and he's a totally different player and they have a legit shot at the title.

Now, I've said it before and I'll say it again, Russy is not a point guard.....at least not the point guard that this team needs. With the weapons that this teams has had or even has now, they need more of an aggressive facilitating point guard who can also score when needed, not the opposite.

Menlo very quietly having his best season of his career all around I believe. I'm so happy he's finally going all in on both sides of the ball man.

good to see lillard applying what he learned from curry after getting the bizness the other night
blazers got a nice little backcourt

They need a rim stopper/lockdown SF to flourish though because Dame and CJ literally ain't stopping a traffic cone

Aminu?

The Blazers may be best served making McCollum the sixth man. Not sure they can win with two 6'3 offensive minded guards starting.
