It will be gloriously satisfying when the Cavs fail to make it to the finals

I know I'm going to sound like the east version of a-friend but I want to see the Cavs in the offs

I'm more scared of the other east teams tbh

Don't do this to yourself. It's fun to throw salt at Cleveland but the Bulls will lose to them

utlimately what lowe and windhorst agreed is that blatt rubbed ppl the wrong way. he came off as arrogant and cocky, and in general unable to connect with people on a personal level. not just lebron but the rest of the team, members of the organization and even the media.

so as a leader of the team, if he lacks the ability to communicate or relate to players, how can you keep him as a coach?

At the end of day, I think my problems is less with the fact that Blatt got fired, but with how it went down. He's was doomed to failure since Lebby was never on board with him from the beginning. He would have been pushed out eventually regardless of what they did. But I didn't like the timing and that they immediately, permanently replaced him with another guy who is unproven as a head coach. Just makes it look like LeBron orchestrated it all and it was brewing for a long time.

I refuse to believe that the org didn't run it by Lebby before firing Blatt. I don't think Lebby orchestrated it by any means but I believe he could have prevented it

I just think they wanted someone other than Blatt. I'm not sure a rookie head coach in Ty Lue is the coach Lebron always dreamed of like you guys are trying to put it. I'm sure if they could've got a JVG, Mark Jackson, etc they'd take those two over Ty.

I don't think Lebby was dreaming of Lue by any means but if Lebby wanted JVG or Jackson you can't be naive enough to think CLE couldn't get that done. Lebby gets what he wants

Are you sure? I read that Mark Jackson was Bron's first choice when Bron first came back to Cleveland but Cleveland weren't going to hire him on.

Depends on which articles you pick and choose to believe. From history, we've seen that Lebby has gotten what he's wanted. Trading Wiggins for example, and bullying the org to extend TT to a ridiculous contract

Championships. Euroleague. Multiple.

Management always consult with their superstar before pulling the trigger on major deals/trades/firings. That's how Jordan got Doug Collins out of CHI, and Magic booted Paul Westhead from LA for Pat Riley.

LeBron James is a liar for saying he had no idea Blatt was getting fired. The Cavs run by EVERYTHING with LeBron before doing anything. He knew what was going on.

It was from Yahoo's Adrian Woj who seems to be pretty credible.

Be it as it may, all I know is that Lebby has seemed to pull the strings on the major moves the org has made since he's returned. I don't see why a head coach choice would suddenly be any different

The reasoning they gave is that the GM David Griffin heard about the "truth's" inside Jackson's Warriors reign and i guess didn't agree with it so they didn't want to hire him.

Lebron probably wrote that cute little speech Griffin gave after showing Blatt the door

Which is why Lebby wanted Lue, if you believe other reports, he wanted a coach who was a former NBA player. Now that he has it, I believe he's run out of excuses

hasn't lebron just been signing 1 yr contracts with the option?

LITERALLY NO WAY ON EARTH THEY DONT RUN ABSOLUTELY EVERY SINGLE DECISION BY HIM. NO WAY THEY TAKE THE CHANCE OF LETTING HIM BOUNCE AGAIN.

those clowns aren't fooling me.

and @amel223, you're my dude bro, but DON'T hope for Cleveland man. Can the bulls beat them? Sure. Will they? doubtful. Too much rides on a hobbled d.rose and the effort you're going to get from Pau. That's a bad gamble g

Trust me, I hope so. I'd love for the bulls, after as many L's as they've taken to Lebron over these past few years, ever since 2011 when everyone gassed bron 'locking' rose, I'd love for them to finally get the victory.

Idk. They didn't make it easy for them last year and Jimmy's gotten even better.

I think they have almost the same chance of beating the cavs that the cavs do of beating them.

I know I'd love to see them go at it again this year. It should make for good basketball

When I discussed this with my mother (How many of us have mothers who watch basketball?) she brought up the one year contract too as a reason why Lebron knew and probably orchestrated Blatt's firing with him leaving being the leverage to get it done ASAP. Had me weebeying. I forgot all about it.

Adrian is credible but he's the anti-Windhorst...dude has been going hard on Lebron since the early Cleveland days. So I take what he says with a grain of salt.
