Come on now.  Sports questions are about the same thing every time.

It's the TMZesqe questions that rubs players the wrong way.  Regardless, the policy and standard for these players/coaches/teams is to conduct themselves a certain way.

NT turning on Westbrook now?
You know how folks do on here. I LOVE Westbrook giving these dipstick reporters the run around when they try to drum up some drama. Reporters are always trying to get players to hang themselves and y'all mad when a guy doesn't go for it and talks about his team and the actual game? Foh.

KD and Russ are both weird to the media in OKC, I've read the articles and you can see how they treat and are treated by the reporters.

I don't really care if Russ gives those kind of answers because they're clearly trying to get a story out of it and he's not giving them the answers the media wants.. but on the other hand, they're just reporters doing their job and they have to ask those questions. It's the same as when Pop gives some reporter a hard time for asking the standard/cookie cutter questions pre/post/in game and he gives a smart *** answer.

Also.. Toronto and Orlando are playing in London on NBA TV today at 3.

I mentioned the same thing a few weeks ago (pop being a **** to the media). It's cute when the old white guy does it, just don't let a young black guy start doing it.

Yea, we are furious Russ gives bad interviews and is a douche.

I can't think straight I'm so mad! It has ruined my life. I hope God gives me the strength, to go on

coincidence. its not racial man. pop is beloved in the media, so they go with it. russ and kd are painted to have the "badboy" image. so they go with that.

For the record, I don't condone Pop being a jerk to the media anymore than I do Russ. But to Pop's credit, I've heard there are times he can be very gracious and respectfully to reporters. Not sure I've heard that's true of Russell.

And on Russ, he seems to think anything other than, "Russ, what do you feel like saying about the game tonight?" is a dumb question. Like last night he got asked about an altercation that occurred during the just concluded game. That's a reasonable area of inquiry, IMO, that a reporter's readers/viewers may want to hear more about. Not a "nonsense" question at all. And rather than just ignoring it and thereby prompting the reporters to keep asking about it in different ways, he could have just said, "you know what, that really had no impact on the game and I'm not going to comment on it." But no, he prefers to look at people like they're ******ed, pretend their not there or just make up his own questions in his head. If people think that's cool, good for them, I guess.

that's the thing. u wouldn't fine them. access a technical foul on both individuals and continue the gm. guys just wanna talk and talk throughout the gm and when something happens there's a bunch of backpedaling and hold me backs. this would cut out all nonsense in the gm. every gm, there is nonstop talking. whether it's between players/coaches/refs, etc.
guys gonna be taking them mma classes in the offseasons

Russ agreed to be interviewed by fans, and treated them with disrespect and disregard, but yea, he only does this to media for saying he can't win and blah blah blah.

Dude is just a douche with a terrible wardrobe who thinks he's better than any situation.

I imagine Russ thinking of himself as that man in the Dos Equis commercials, the most interesting man In America.

Cereal question...do you guys know any reporters? My old college roommate is a Lakers beat writer and I've met some of his colleagues through him. They always end up talking about their worst experiences and I've never heard KD or Russ once. Pop doe?...yawp.

Also, Rose is at the top of the list.

Familiarity breeds contempt. I get that. But Friday night, in a game the Thunder desperately needed, Westbrook had a game for the ages. And he was mad at the world. Not just me. Mad at everybody. And when he no-answers  The Oklahoman  and the Thunder website and Channel 5 and The Sports Animal, he's showing his complete disregard for fans. We're not there to get our jollies. We're there because we all have customers intensely interested in the Thunder. The people who buy tickets and the people who watch the games  (like @a-friend)on television so that the Thunder can sell commercials and pay the bills.
