There's nothing in the rule book that says it's NOT legal, which is the key.

Here's the dumbest part: it's not even a delay of game. You ever notice in late game situations a ref tell a player to back off the inbounder in order to give him room to throw it in? If you don't back off, it's a delay of game. You know what ISN'T a delay of game? Literally going out of bounds and fouling the inbounder. Wait, it gets even dumber: if Capela had just dropped the ball (literally, let the ball fall to the ground), THAT would have been a delay of game too, because an intentional act by the defender would have prevented Capela from inbounding the ball. But actually fouling the guy is fair game. Tell me if that makes sense lol.

Yo, just wondering. If I put 500 against the Warriors in a regular season game and I win. How much would I potentially win?

The point is that the Cavs are not better than the Spurs, Warriors, or even Thunder tbh. I legit don't get how you know they shouldn't win, but **** on them when that actual conclusion comes into play.

I'm starting to feel very strongly that the Raps are the best team out east anyway, and I predicted that the cavs wouldn't make it out this season.

its hard to trust any teams in the east that doesnt have lj to come out the east based off the past but i hope the raps do come out the east .

Obviously, this completely depends on who they are playing.  Like for instance, last night, if you were to bet $500 against the Warriors and the Warriors actually lost, you would have won $7500 (Mavs were +1500).  If you were to have bet $500 on the Spurs to beat the Warriors on Monday and the Warriors actually lost, you would have won $925 (Spurs were +185).

I'd put money on the thunder to win the chip. And just keep betting against them. If they do win it all. +1200 right now. When they do run into the Warriors i would bet big on the Warriors so you could come out with a profit.

Yeah but while Lebron is still very good, his lack of shooting will be their downfall in the east.

Toronto has a top 5 offense and top 10 defense league wide for a reason. They are legit, and eye test tells me they can not only compete, but defeat the Cavs.

For a person with such a high usage rate as lebron has, his shooting has to get to at least respectable or else they won't make it out.

There's just an understanding that needs to be had that...not everyone can win. The Cavs aren't better than the Warriors, or Spurs. We all know this.

Also, PM your way.
But to be better than the Warriors Lebrun needs more help

Lebron doesn't need more help. The Cavs are by far one the more talented teams in the NBA.

Edit:

Unless, of course, you're being sarcastic and just making fun of the things Lebron stans say. If that's the case, then yes, Lebron needs moar halp!

They call him the young wolf. They say he rides into battle on the back of giant direwolf. They say he can turn into a wolf himself when he wants. They say he can't be killed.

I know they do, and really I don't know who would actually help the cavs beat the warriors so it's a moot point. Anything short of like a KD or someone.

And that's what I don't understand. I know it's a running gag on here, the whole 'Lebron needs more help thing' but that roster isn't good enough to defeat the warriors, thunder, or spurs.

So why do we sarcastically say Lebron needs more help? To get a joke off :lol?

The reality is that while Lebron is still obviously great, he can't defeat all time great teams like the warriors and spurs because...it's a team game. It's more so, "The Cavaliers need more help" instead of "Lebron needs more help"

Where you could cut corners with Prime lebron with Chris Anderson, Shane Battier etc., won't fly because Lebron isn't prime lebron anymore so you can't get by with JR Smith throwing stinkers in the finals, or lebron not being able to shoot, or having to play Richard Jefferson real minutes. The Cavaliers as a team, aren't composed to win an NBA title.

I would 100% NOT recommend doing this.  Here is why (and I am assuming the Thunder would be the 3 seed, Warriors the 1, and I will estimate the odds):

Say you bet $100 on the Thunder at +1200.  Your total possible winnings would be $1200.  So the Thunder play, lets say the Rockets in the first round and would be big favorites (lets guess -300).  You bet $300 against the Thunder (which would only cover your original $100 bet), which loses.  Now your total possible winnings would be $1200 but you are down $300.

Then they face the Spurs in round 2.  The Spurs would be favored, but not by a ton.  Lets just say they are -200 to beat the Thunder.  So this bet would need to be at least enough to cover the $300 you are down, plus a little more so you could actually win something.  So you bet $700 on the Spurs to win. The Thunder win the series, and you are now down $1000 with a potential to win $1200.

Then the Thunder play the Warriors in the WCF.  I would guess that the Warriors would be at the very least would be -300.  So now, you are down $1000, with the potential to win only $200 more than you are down.  You have a $1000 makeup, and if you want to "profit" You would have to bet $30,000 on the Warriors at -300 just to break even with the $1000 you are down.

If the Thunder win, you are now down $31,000.  NOW you still have to have the Thunder win the Finals for you to even cash your original bet that yields only $1200.

Sorry bro, but you clearly did not think through your post, as it is one of the dumbest betting strategies I have ever heard.  I hope the guy didnt listen to you, as it would be a sure fire way of flushing a large sum of money down the toilet.

Y'all see how far the Bulls were going under on Lebron and packing it in?

The cavs are going to see a diet of that come playoff time and while their "talent" should allow them to skate free the first round or two, there could be some real problems come ECF.

Lebron's Usage rate this year rivals prime lebron, and is actually higher than it was during his last year in Miami. However his shooting has been horrendous, so this lowkey is a recipe for disaster for the cavs.

Wouldn't be surprised if the cavs didn't go all the way.

Lebron will make those Jump Shots when it matters, he will.

sidenote: Westbrook shooting like 24% from 3pt right now. He that bad? Nah, just bored man

He can not make a shot outside of 6 feet and the Cavs will be the Finals. Don't overthink this.

You believe in the raps? It seems like same story every year with them lately. Super hot start at the beginning of the season. Then they play below .500 ball the rest of the season and flame out. I just have a hard time seeing anyone from the east beating Bron and them.

That Corey Joseph addition is low key big though. One of the best backup pgs in the league.

1) Lebron's shooting isn't some new development. He was a very bad shooter last postseason and it just bled over to this season. Why wasn't he making them when they counted last year? Don't be so sure. If he turns the corner with his shooting then the cavs are fine, but as it stands they are not fine and a big reason for their issues have to do with bron's lack of shooting. He's shooting 33 percent ON OPEN SHOTS OUTSIDE OF 10 FEET. OPEN SHOTS.

2) Yes he is that bad. He's never been a knockdown shooter, but continues to take 3's which kills the thunder. It doesn't hurt them in the regular season, but it always catches up to them in the postseason. He's never been a knockdown shooter or finisher at the rim, yet for some reason his team and coach(s) consistently allow him to take these wild forrays into the paint and shoot these ill advised 3's.

Point is, Lebrons struggle jumper isn't allowing Toronto to beat them, it just isn't. Or anybody out East.
