I wonder how many Kobe would have scored against the Mavs when he dropped 62 in 3 quarters. Aesthetically, that was more impressive to me than Toronto
i kinda see your pov. Mavs were one of if not the  best team in the L that year and kobe outscored the mavs on his own,. hard to say which one is more impressive.

Agreed. To me, the Toronto game was just the one Kobe decided he was going to try to score as many points as he could. It was clear he was going to shoot or drive whenever he touched and the Raptors played right into it.

Which era's rules would determine who would win. You go by 90s rules probably give it to Jordan's team.

Today's rules I think I might like number 1. That team can space the floor outside of Wilt. That team can pretty much switch everything outside of Wilt.

I just honestly mean, like in the 81 point game, it was almost "quiet". Against Dallas, I was in awe of what he was doing. It was pure sorcery. He outscored their entire team through 3 quarters. That's absurd

Actually Dwight has been ballin' as of late. Unfortunately Harden is becoming the Western Conference Carmelo Anthony...elite scorer who doesn't elevate his teammates play.

I still think James can come around though. Just needs the right coach and a better offensive system that doesn't require him to shoot so much
him and harden aint going to cut it against the other elite squads regardless if howard has been balling lately.  ....

right coach and better system. okay , another excuse word to scott brooks being the reason okc couldnt win.

dont ever put harden and melo in the same sentence again bruh :smh:

people saying trade cp are just saying that if you dont think the team as constructed is good enough to get past the elite of the west , change something up .

, cp is past 30 and 6'0 tall . his value will never be higher then it is right now

. thats what im getting from the dudes saying that. i dont see anyone saying cp sucks. you guys getting defensive and hurt over nothin but i dont see any scenarios where he can get traded to. maybe after this year if the clippers come up short.

nope sell higjh...clips aint movin
just like chi shoulda moved noah for boogie when his value was actually existent
But again, why does CP3 get the blame for his teams not making it?
if he played better his teams would have made it

he's ranked with the greats the greats have all "made it"

the point of basketball is to win games, not get nice advanced stats

he's a generally unlikable human being

he's a known choker

imo 4 straight 50 point games > 62 > 81

because he is the leader . thats kind of how it works , whether its fair or not ...

right or wrong ?

kind of like dirk would be looked at totally different if he never won anything. dirk used to get slandered so much.

I'll bite

- Basketball is a team sport. CP generally has played very well in the postseason, so it's no guarantee that if he plays Better that his team would have won.

- Y'all be picking and choosing when CP is a choker which is silly.

- Rankings are highly subjective. It's all about what you value. Won't go into that one. He's an all time great, I'll leave that one at that.

That is a dumb way to look at it because basketball is a team sport. I hate that train of though. It isn't a 1 on 1 game

Should Philly trade there first round pick this year for CJ McCollum?

I think they should make a run for him. Maybe the lesser of the many picks they have.

If they have him and Jah in the starting lineup, the defence will be horrendous.

being a pass first pg is the easiest job in the nba, no one blames you for any off your teams shortcomings because you're a "team player"

cp is about the same rank and career path as melo, yet melo gets no respect because as a scorer people place all the blame on him
