Maybe he's just not cut out to be an nba head coach. Let alone a team that is built to win from day one. Is that at all a possibility? Being critical of blatt is not the same as defending lebron for the record

In my opinion, there is now way to legitimately judge his competence as an NBA coach based on his tenure with the Cavs. It was clear LeBron was never on board with him, so he was basically a head coach in name only from the jump. But because of how all this went down and the narrative out there that he couldn't relate to players or get their respect, he's probably not going to get another chance as a HC.

Also, how can you conclude that "he's just not cut out to be an NBA head coach" when he got his team to the Finals last year and had them 1st in the East this season. You think he was the reason they didn't beat the Warriors? Please . . .

Something is up with that left rim. Same roll outs Rose were getting in the first half Cavs are getting in the second.

kevin and elite should never be used together again. Dude is terrible on defense, his offensive game is decent when he is getting the touches, but he does not mesh with with this team. Swap taj and love and the cavs would be improved. Still smh at TT getting paid like a superstar [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128514[/emoji] Bron really is the plug

Not to mention his numerous overseas accomplishments. Sure it's not the NBA but it counts for something.

It's called having the 2nd player in the NBA and having 2 other All Star level players.

If Lebron was their player coach, you don't think they couldn't got basically the same result?

and this is the problem with the way people view nba coaches

if you have a reputation like pop, everything bad that happens is the players fault and you get all the credit for team success

if you have a bad reputation like kevin mchale, everything bad that happens is your fault and when your team is overly successful its because of the players

I would think people that make decisions would be more privy to how good of a coach he actually is. The narrative is just for the public, spin job, damage control or it might actually be true. If he doesn't coach again it just might be for a reason. I might be wrong but I remember nt slandering blatt for his interviews and coaching decision all the time but now he's cool because it's fun to hate lebron. Maybe lebron shouldn't have got his coach fired like countless other superstars but it's not hard to believe blatt really wasn't cut out for this anyway.

Exactly. Not to mention the east was historically weak last year. Byron scott also made the finals a few times.

I do. So, why make Blatt the scapegoat now? The Cavs are talented enough that they're probably going to win the East no matter who is coaching and they're also probably going to lose in the Finals no matter who is coaching. So, the Blatt firing really was nothing more than a move to appease LeBron that's not going to have any real impact.

Can we get Rubio and KAT back in the game now.. this is why we keep blowing double digit leads

Can we open up this lead a little while Bron is on the bench?

Jimmy has been fairly quiet tonight.
