so I just came across a crazy stat, i thought i knew everything bout NBA legends i had no idea '82 Magic Johnson pretty much averaged a triple double

You still have to factor in pace. He's a great player, but the pace back then was astronomical compared to today.

2016 warriors average 99 possessions per 48
1982 lakers average 103 possesions per 48

kobe was trying to win, any means necessary, the best way he knew how. Bron doesnt gaf. He just doesnt want to look bad.

That's where he was at his best in Miami. When they had him limited to 1-2 3-pointers a game and him and Dwade were running screens off of each other with bosh at the free throw line or 3 point line for the kickout. I think Kyrie and him should be doing a lot more of that but Kyrie can't set a screen like Dwade, but they should play to his (Kyrie) strengths more (ball handling, 3pointers, penetration). Sadly I don't think Lebron will go for it since he thinks he is a shooter. The other problem is that Klove can't defend like Bosh could so running him at the 5 and lebron at the 4 would get them destroyed underneath. They are also paying TT wayyyyyyy too much to sit on the bench while bron/klove are running the front court.
 
Lebron was so efficient in Miami.  He had so many easy buckets within the offense and the team as a whole was able to put stops together.  Cleveland doesn't have any two way players outside of Lebron and even he takes plays off on defense to save energy.  Cleveland isn't winning with this roster this year, next year or the year after.  I just don't see Love and Kyrie learning how to win.

u head it on the head. i've been hammering this all the time. cleveland has too many guys that play one side of the ball. love/kyrie are absolutely atrocious on defense. tristan/delly are expensive hustle guys that get after it, but they can't get you buckets unless lebron is initiating. their 2/3 are not consistent at all

So when GSW don't repeat as champions will they get a pass? I can see it now. They lost because their head coach missed half the season. What really pisses me off about GSW is how much the whine when you don't kiss their behind. Steph wanted Mark Jackson to reword his x-mas day statements about youth basketball (which were spot on btw I went to highschool game last Friday and in the 1st half both teams combined to shoot 35 3's and only shot 8 2pt shots) Bogut chimed in too. The fans are a joke too. Whenever GSW wins they are the best thing since pants with pockets. Whenever they lose it's always "We had a off night". It's never the other team played better and beat us. I'll go to my grave saying last years title was a fluke. It was the first time in a very long time a team has jump shot their way to a title. Not to mention every starting pg they played was injured and it took you 6 games to beat LBJ, JR Smith and some borderline d-leaguers. It they win it this year I will give them credit.

I'm not a Cavs fan and I don't cape for athletes. When Reggie Miller retired I stopped being a "fan". I just enjoy the NBA and having level headed conversations.
 
The team "jump shot'd" their way to a title by leading the league in adjusted (per 100 poss., adjusted for opponent's offense) defensive rating and efficiency.

Anyone that usually makes your exact point is not fully informed on what happened last year... typically.
