Y'all stuck with him as long as Phil Jack running that show

If Glen Taylor does the unthinkable and SMitch is our coach next year I don't know what imma do fam.

As a former coach that's had the rug pulled out from underneath him from owenership and an all around good karma dude... I can't imagine Phil firing Fish this soon... but stranger things have happened.

I can see Smitch still being the Coach next year tbh.

And those Morris twins are nuts man, If not nuts then definitely a few sandwiches short of a picnic. I can see why they chose Kansas as a Uni.

if i remember correctly it was kansas, villanova and st johns recruiting them hard. sju obviously had no shot, but they did their due diligence.

Fisher hasn't been bad at all. The team is playing hard every night - the young guys are developing. Any other year in the East - they're a playoff team. Outside of minor stuff here and there, I don't think there's much else he could do.

The Suns man... Pointless firing.

You can't really mean this.

Maybe you meant that you feel bad how things went so wrong for Hornacek so quickly. I can't believe that you think it was a "pointless firing", you seem pretty smart.

How many Knicks games have you watched?

His rotations have cost this team games. His willingness to watch the Knicks blow a 12+ point lead before calling a timeout has cost the team games. His inability to realize and utilize KP and Melo in the two man game has hindered the offense. His inability to get KP involved at the end of games has hurt the team countless times. His over reliance on Arron Afflalo when he's having an off night has hurt the team. The guy has done more damage than good this year.

I've watched a ton of Knick games this year. Probably like 80% of their games.

More Melo PNRs is definitely an issue that's plagued Melo his whole career. He's great at it and it's just never been utilized for whatever reason.

The other stuff is debatable. The rotations aren't going to be perfect because the team isn't that talented. You're forced to throw guys out there like Derrick Williams, O'Quinn, Seraphin, Lou, Grant. Your best PGs are Gallo and Calderon - two limited guys. Your only SG is Afflalo. (Def overused sometimes but he's also straight up carried the team in the clutch at times with his post up game)

Not saying he's Popovic out there. Just think he's doing a decent job considering his 2nd best player is a rookie who's already played more minutes this season than he ever has in his life. The third best player debate is a joke.

Derrick Williams is their best bench player and he wasn't even used for the first two months of the season. That's an issue that falls on Fisher.

not sure if spoelstra or fisher

NT only respects 4 or 5 coaches in entire league
but how many assistant coaches do we vouch for

I'm just speculating here. But Hornacek seemed to have lost the locker room. Could've been a situation where it's like trade Markieff for less than he's worth or watch him continue to play half *** under Hornacek or fire hornacek....

If Markieff starts balling out in a day or 2 we'll know what's up.

I hope to see Archie TJ Warren and some of those other young guys get some experience as they tank this season. I'd trade the garbage man PJ Tucker to a competitor for a draft pick or two and maybe a young talent buried at the bottom of their bench. It's about to get uuuuuuugly in PHX for the rest of the year.

Spo is actually a good coach though. He had done a good job with less. The heat was making the playoffs with a winning record with just dwade and no big 3

how is it not pointless what could he have done better ? this squad doesnt have the talent. they couldve wait til after the season. this team going nowhere either way.

adding on to JRS...

Fisher has single handedly lost us at least 5 games. Early in the season DWill would play 15 minutes one game, 2 minutes the next, then a couple DNP's, then 20 minutes. Guys can't get in rhythm if they don't know when/if they're gonna play. The Kevin Seraphin Experiment was a huge fail & for whatever reason Vujacic still gets minutes. A Galloway-Melo-KP-Lopez lineup is +17 this season but has only played 98 minutes (before last night's game).

We're constantly taking 2 steps forward & 4 steps back. Some of the blame falls on the players but Fisher hasn't put guys in a position to succeed.
