Knick fan(s), how does your opinion of fishy change knowing he was the manchurian coach being puppeteered by phil? Would you welcome him back with a different offense?

Woj can't even infiltrate the Lakers, so I have a difficult time thinking that SAS can.

i've had enough of his PAL league speeches, arrogance, awful rotations, bad clock management, etc.
 
You know what. I just remembered. I was at a bar from 5pm-8pm this Saturday, just killing time. And some stranger just starts talking sports with me. Before we know it, the conversation turned to Derek Fisher bashing. And I remember saying, "That's Phil Jackson's man. He's not leaving anytime soon.' The stranger agreed with me.

Welp.

I done cursed the guy. :lol:
 
Did not see Fisher firing this soon. The Knicks really hav ezero patience. No patience with draft picks, with coaches (not saying Fisher is a great coach or anything), but there's no longevity or consistency ever.

Lol nah.

We talked about some upcoming soccer tournament. Why soccer isn't as popular in America as it is in Europe. St. John's University basketball. Then he just started talking about the Knicks and bashing the hell out of Fisher.

I didn't get the chance to curse Scott. Sorry.

Aside from that, does Jeannie have the authority to get rid of Jim. I thought they were basically equals in the organization, with him running the basketball side and her running the business/marketing side.

She has final say in all decisions. And has stepped into the basketball side before.
 
I just heard the news of Derek Fisher getting fired, so the first thing I did was come to NT and go to the New York Knicks threads to read the reactions.

Should hire Mark Jackson.

dolan should just let phil walk now, if he wants that LA job and hire isiah as a consultant to clean up and rebuild. say what you want, isiah is a great evaluator of talent, have someone who can handle the numbers side of things for him

The hell should they have patience with an incompetent coach who's blown 10 games this year?
 
Rose really isn't playing in the middle of all these injuries, because he is sore?

Wow! worried about what everyone else's new contracts were looking like though, hmmm....usually figures that way too.
