Yea I mean it could go either way. He could swing a deal that makes them a legit top 3 team. Or they could fall out the playoffs in a blink. It's funny how perspective works. Boston is considered a good team while the teams immediately behind them like atl, mia, indy and chicago are considered underachieving.

Well you asked me a question and I answered it. Boston fans, boston media and ainge himself all admitted that his plan failed. Not my fault if I give my opinion and it offends you.

What makes you think I'm offended? Plus, I don't recall asking "what did the Celtic fans and Boston media think of the team's 2015 draft class?", which seems to be the "opinion" you're giving me. I thought the issue was how Ainge is managing the team's assets overall. You switched it to the 2015 draft by itself.

Goodness, Kiwi and Shaq just compared their hands and both are basically the same size.

I mean, weren't they supposed to do something with those assets in 2015? Do they get a pass for that? Their future assets aren't much better outside of this year's BK pick. Nobody said anything when I was clowning Ainge after the draft. So you agree that they failed with their assets as far as 2015 goes?

Ainge didn't fail at the draft, Michael Jordan failed at the draft. Ainge offered him picks to pull Winslow and MJ stupidly said no. That ain't on Danny and you know it. So no, they didn't fail with their 2015 picks at all, since they seem to be doin just fine currently.

See any upside in Indy, Miami, Chicago, Atlanta? All vet teams, lot of broken bodies, free agents, etc. Not a lot of leeway there.

Boston tho, Top 3 coach. Top 3 seed in the East. Top 3 pick possibly. 3 first round picks. The 76ers 2nd round pick. 4 other 2nd round picks. They have 27 million spent next year, with a cap that could get to 90+. The Nets, who you think aren't so bad, they're paying Deron Williams 14 million dollars next year, to play for the Mavs. And the Celtics own that pick too.  :x :smh:

They could be a 3 seed in their conference, get a top 3-4 pick, 4 total picks in the top 32, 5 in the top 35, and then have 50-60 million dollars to spend in Free Agency, if they want?

But they aren't in any good position to do anything, in your eyes? Come on man. Any other city and you'd be seein it. You lettin Boston hate blind you, just own up to it. They are in a strong, strong position right now.

I brought that up to support my own argument. And I said all that about his assets way before the fans and media saw the light, long before judement day. Just confirms why I think he failed. Like running for office and getting voters to support you. The 2015 draft is all there is to go off of so far unless I missed 2016 et al. But I did say I think he should move that BK pick asap before it slips even further. The Nets are only like 3-4 games from 5th worst record .

That is a fantastic spin job dude. I guess Jordan should hold ainge's **** when he takes a piss too. It's danny's team, it's danny's plan, it's danny's job. He's the one that didn't get it done. He had a plan and didn't execute it. That's a fail. The assets weren't good enough. Ainge mentioned that he tried to trade with several teams in the lotto and nobody was biting.

I already said they look good for now. I really don't expect them to keep it up and finish the year as a 3 seed. The only pick that matters is BK's. Miss me with the rest.

If ainge is able to pull it off I'll be on my knees right next to you topping him off. And if he doesn't I'm not expecting you to come in here patting me on the back telling me I was right.

I would hate to be on the thunder. Pretty much you would have to "try" to play defense, and then on offense you just stand there and watch two guys shoot questionably bad shots
