I don't agree. Adults fighting even if its cause they "got someones back" does not impress me.
It's just part of the game and the officiating has prevented many escalation.  But I would rather have someone who would stick up for me than not.  If players play dirty, I would rather see a player retaliate and take matters into their own hand.

Trying to have the 'system' or 'refs' manage everything is far-fetched and has never worked.  You gotta fight for your right.  JMHO.

I'm not looking forward to this playoff season for my Hawks this teams form so far this season has definitely regressed since last season. I don't want to say its not possible to make it back to the ECF but its not likely in reality this is a round 2 season at best right now.
What happened to Kyle korver?

Fights show who really got your back.  Either you bang, or your back peddle speed is quicker than Revis.

Man when this thread derails, like it doesn't even see the tracks nomo.

What the hell is wrong with yall.

People with real conversation about the games that can't even get a read.

**** everywhere.
Calm down. This is the thunders year

LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Paul George all these dudes grew up idolizing him. From the media to the players he's influenced he won't be forgotten. That doesn't even make sense.

Yeah this is true but recent greats have idolized players like Erving, Moses, Thomas, Robinson, Malone, Pippen, Ewing.

Granted some of those players don't have rings but they have a lot other accolades but still don't get mentioned a lot in all time goat conversations the further we get from their playing careers.

I think his obvious flaw that his always had if finally truly showing which is that he can't create his own shot. I've believed that was bound to catch up to him eventually because at some point Jeff's and Dennis's play and creating the shoot for him won't always work. Plus after going cold for a while he just seems to like the confidence that he had last season.

Also I think Demarre Carroll had clearly had an important role on the play of the team and without him apart of the lineup it shows. Not to say all of our problems this year is because his gone but he was a very important player for our success last year.

he's a nice fit inside that locker room as well

YouTube is loaded with Kobe videos with two decades worth of material.

He won 5 titles with the most prestigious franchise in the sport.

He's going to have two jersey numbers retired, and a statue.

There is ZERO chance of him being forgotten or eroded over time.

Using David, Malone, Moses etc is just dumb. They played in a tape delayed era and pre internet era. In nothing markets to boot.

Very impressive that he peaked at 34, I think his age had a part in not being able to keep up his level of production

yeah i can't picture anyone saying "There were so many great players in the 2000's. Dirk, Duncan, Iverson.....oh, and Kobe Bryant."

That has played a role without a doubt. Him peaking later in his career is kind of a double edged sword. Positive for him he can still play in the NBA and contribute at an older age but (and this is the negative) peaking so late means its very unlikely you can play at a similar level like that for a 3-5 more years like someone that peaks at 26-30. His season last season was pretty much a shooting star.

Dr. J gets brought up all the time. Whenever the dunk contest comes up. Even when MJ comes up people always say Dr. J was the father of that style. Malone still gets brought up in greatest PF discussions. Look at Reggie Miller, when people talk about Steph being the best shooter ever his name comes up. Kobe has had a bigger impact than all of dudes you named except DR. J. Ultimately players legacies are judged by how younger players view them and all these younger players look up to him.
