Agree with moving on with bledsoe but I doubt that the suns would get much for him. What time would be most interested? Jazz?

Booker was that close to being available for Oklahoma. The match couldn't have been better even off the bench. I wanted it to happen so bad in the summer

He'd be buried at the end of the bench in okc in favor of waiters and foye

Okay, this guy is really good. (Still wondering why Suns waisted all that money on Tyson Chandler :| )

And if I'm not mistaken, Chandler's contract is four years. May have been the worst contract given out by any team last Summer.

I don't hate him at all. I just completely forget about him because the Sixers don't get talked about.

Okafor has had a better overall season than Russell & Booker. Most rookies always play better in March/April

Westbrook shooting .281 in 4th quarter and OT since all-star break. Yikes.

1. Towns
2a. Russell
2b. Porzingis
4. Okafor
5. Booker

2nd will go based on who finishes the season better. And Russell has outpaced Porzingis since the beginning of February. And has outpaced Okafor in February.

Had Porzingis kept up with how he started, he'd clearly be 2nd, and make # 1 a race.

Oh yeah. I figured you didn't. I mostly mean the rest of the NBA and fans.

Zach Lowe and one of them other Grantland dudes (Haralabos Voulgaris) were arguing a few weeks ago that Okafor wouldn't go in the lottery in a redraft mean.gif.

That's the homer in you man. Kris is the 2nd best player on a team that could win about 30 games. Not that that's good...but it counts for something. He was big in some big games for a stretch. DLo has had a good month and some change. His early season struggles have to be taken in account. Though Kristaps has hit a MEAN rookie Wall, he still has had a better season.

And Jahlil has had a better season than DLo up to this point. I mean, the Sixers and the Lakers are on the same tier.

It goes:

1. Towsns
2. Kristaps
3. Jahlil
4. Russel
5. Mudiay/Booker

Doesn't really matter, because towns is unanimous.

^^^ Towns won't be unanimous, I don't think. There's always one dumb *** who wants to go against the grain. Like when that guy Fred Hickman didn't vote Shaq for MVP in 2000.

No that's being objective.

We can make a significant case about Porzingis versus Russell.. But I'm going to choose Okafor.

RPM
Russell -2.06 (51 of 83 PGs)
Okafor -6.11 (75 of 75 Centers)

I'll point that Noel is at a +0.18

There's 446 players qualified for the Real Plus Minus Stat.. Okafor is 443... His company (Marco Bellineli, Nick Young & Terrance Jones)

Okafor's rebounding rate is 48th out of 58 Centers.... At a nice 12.8... In comparison Roy Hibbert is 11.1 and Towns is 19.1

Let's look at another area... For his stellar offense, he does not score at much of an efficiency better than Russell... TS for Okafor & Russell .536 - .524

If you look at eFG% JO & DAR... .509 - .501

Then finally let's look at something else.... Turnover% which is how many Turnovers you're likely to have in 100 possessions... JO & DAR... 12.5 - 15.3

Want to be more far, let's look at ESPN's Turnover Ratio... Which is % of player's possessions that end in a turnover... 11.8 - 12.4

Then look at assist%... 8.2 - 23.0

Or how about Assist Ratio.... Russell 18.9 to Okafor's 6.2

Sooooo Okafor turns it over almost at a comparative rate than Russell.. YET Russell is able to do this as he not only has to get his, but help everyone else get there's and does it while Okafor only has to get his.

And before you point that Okafor gets the ball much more... Usage is 24.9 Okafor to 23.5 Russell.

In the words of the Bob's from Office Space to Jahlil Okafor...

^^^^Really using advanced stats and RPM when Jahlil plays for the ***** Sixers? He's the only real NBA talent on that team. Seriously laugh.gif.

And then you're going to compare assists stats between Center and a PG? roll.gif

@Essential1

I'm a fan of advanced stats...but they really don't tell the whole story. You use them as a crutch.

D-Lo hasn't had a better OVERALL season than KP or Jahlil. He's been very good as of late though.

But you just said that the Sixers and the Lakers are on the same tier... Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Also... The Assist Stats have nothing to do with assists, it's highlighting the turnover ratios.. In which Okafor turns the ball over at a comparative, and he does nothing else but get the ball and try to score. And is used just as much as Russell...

We can now point at how they fare in the post

Russell 1.02 PPP in the Post.. 88th Pecentile.
Jahlil Okafor 0.85 PPP in the Post 53rd Percentile..

Let's compare Okafor to a Big Man Nobody Likes... Who everyone says has no Post Moves.
PPP 0.85 - 0.83
Frequency 32.1% - 29.7%
eFG% .471-.473
TO% 15.8-16.1
Score Freqency - 43.4-44.2
Percentile - 53.7-48.8

Which I guess it is good that he's at that level as a Rookie... So that's great.... It should round out to be fine 5-6 years down the line.

But again.. What is it specifically that he does?

I agree with that. I want to put DLo higher but he started off so slow. If this was since the all star break it would be Towns then DLo
