Dame isn't close to being the player that Blake is. That really should be the end of it. But even if we replace Blake...dame isn't better than Jimmy, Wall, Chris Paul, or Melo so all of that is irrelevant

idk man, i get league pass. I watch a bunch of games per week with the dvr. I just love hoops I guess. It's not like something hard, I find it entertaining.

Agreed. I'd rather watch an average NBA game on a weeknight than whatever else is airing on TV. Just more entertaining to me. *shrugs*

I'll throw on a game while I'm cooking or whatever or surfing the net, it doesnt have to even be teams I like necessarily. I'll have it on while I surf the net and glance at it every now and then. Never know what you might see. Some of the lamest teams can have a good night and the game is lit.

"Only Retros"

Nike's Quality is has really gone down

None of their shoes are built to last man, it's pathetic. I wouldn't mind the price tag if they had the quality to match. I had the kobe 8 which were awesome but hardly lasted a couple months. I came down from grabbing a rebound and felt my foot touch the actual hardwood floor like I was barefoot. I couldn't believe it.

Blake is so overrated

Guy benefits immensely from playing with CP0

This year:

Chris Paul Ortg on court +10.9, off, -5.2

Blake Griffin on court +4.7, off +4.9

Hmmmm

Top 10 favorite NBA players right now?? :nerd:
I can't even go ten deep if I tried. Basically only ride for Russy and PG13, that's it.

Dame is carrying a bad team
Blake gets hurt/suspended and his team hasn't been impacted

But Blake is a top 10 player and Dame isn't? Ok

Blake isn't even the best player on his team
Don't slight C.J. as a crucial, high-level second scorer. Portland needs every bit of McCollum's offense.

FWIW, Quake and Dame are both outside my previously listed current top 10. It's easy to pile on Quake. He's sidelined and punched a team staffer. While Dame's on a 5-game 30+-point tear, including a fresh trashing of GSW.

That's no sleight though, CP3 is on most fair NTers' top 10. And keep in mind the OKC situation with Russy and KD. You can argue who is the "best player on the team," but both are consensus top 5 at the moment.

I still see dudes hooping in the same pair of 8s and I don't see how they do it. I even switched the insole with the lebron xi (only played in those once, don't even get me started on those) and they're still burnt. The xx8 are pretty dope tho, still get good runs in those.

I've been wanting to scoop up some rose's to support my guy poohdini but they're so damn ugly I just can't

Memphis is going to fall out of the playoff picture I think, then Houston edges out Utah for the No. 7 seed.
Memphis has a lead big enough that they can make the playoffs. They realistically only have to win 10-12 more games out of 27 games.

Which is why trading Lee and Green and getting back those picks were smart. Once Gasol went down (and he could have been healthy) they knew they weren't doing **** in the playoffs. So they got the picks for Lee/Green because they knew they weren't going to re-sign them this summer and they'll still very likely make the playoffs.

the kobe, 4,5,6,8 are the best! Yes the cushion compresses really quick but the shoe holds up pretty well. ive been playing in those model for a very long time outdoors. to this day my pair of VIs have held up well, no breakage, glue still in tact, just bald traction. lol

lol at hardwood classics shooting around at an empty gym and grabbing own rebound. that shoe preservation. you dont cut and push the shoes if you actually play games.

Yeah, I don't think its accurate to say Lillard is "carrying" the Blazers. He's playing really well, no doubt, but they're just a much better all around team than anyone expected. McCollum has also been great and a number of their other guys like Crabbe, Vonleh, etc. have stepped up this season as well. And Stotts is coaching his *** off.

dame should be an mvp candidate

portland was supposed to be a lottery team and they're probably gonna make the playoffs

They're 30-27. Carrying a bad team to a slightly above 500 record doesn't make a MVP candidate. Remember that the rockets were 56-26 last year. I'd argue McCollum is better than the rockets 2nd best player last year.

Also, shoutout Terry Stotts.

QFT. shows how wishy washy this thread is.
Strongly dislike "prisoner of the moment" opinions. Beard ain't top 10 though! Lulz. We all know he can't defend for ish, but Harden's an elite ball-dominant facilitator. No perimeter player other than DeRozan is close to drawing as many FTs as Beard does nightly. At a 87% clip to boot. Second in the league in scoring. 3PT shooting is slightly down, but 35% ain't horrible off damn near 8 attempts per game. TOs and defense are and always will be an issue for Harden.

With all that being said, Meyers Leonard and Aminu (to a lesser extent) have disappointed me greatly. The 6-game winning streak is great and I want the Trail Blazers to get in, but ultimately I believe Houston and Utah end up with the last two WC spots.

I bet if this was 2 weeks ago Lillard wouldn't be on some top 10 lists

Totally agree. I like Lillard but he's still piss poor on defense. It doesn't seem to get mentioned as often as Harden or Kyrie for example, but he's real bad on that end.

Someone asked the other day if he's a top 5 player... I mean, really? Curry, LeBron, Durant, Westbrook, Kawhi. You think he's better than any of those guys?

Curry, Westbrook, CP3, Lowry, Wall... I'm not sure if he's even a top 5 PG, let alone player. I think there's some prisoner of the moment responses after what he just did to the Warriors. I'm not trying to crap on him though, he's still having an impressive offensive season and he's as entertaining to watch as anyone when he catches fire.
