I don't understand how you can say that someone who plays the 4 or 5 full time is not a big. What are you even arguing.

The Hornets are the hottest team in the East right now. They're 9-1in their last 10. They're a good team. It's not like the Heat lost to the Sixers.

Just watched Kyries highlight against the Mavs.. was impressed until I seen one of the top comments on YouTube. 28 shots, 1 assist, 5 turnovers :x:x

How you get 1 assist in 39 minutes as the primary ball handler

We spent a couple hours yesterday trying to figure out whether he can't pass, doesn't want to pass or whether it's Lebron's fault. Solid, productive discussion. I think we settled on all of the above.

draymond gets away with a lot of fouls because he's undersized
great versatile defender in todays game

you think he could have guarded a prime PF or C even 10 years ago? let alone the 90s.... no chance not even for 1 quarter
either you step up or you step off.

so he's not a big because you think he wouldn't be able to guard a prime PF or C even 10 years ago? where do you guys get your definitions from? can someone please define what a big man is? because i thought it was just playing the 4 or 5 position.

I played with Stephen at Davidson in '07. I was a senior when he was a freshman. I had to guard him in practice as I was one of the quickest guards, but even as a freshman he was unguardable. That's why he was the leading freshman scorer in NCAA basketball his freshman year. He wasn't as good at handling the basketball then as he is now, but his shot was still lightning quick and just as good.

I tried pressing up against him, but that didn't work because at Davidson Coach (Bob) McKillop ran him off screens and used a lot of ball screens, so he was unguardable. Once he enhanced his ballhandling ability, he didn't need screens. His range increased as well, so as you can see, now he can shoot from anywhere. Trust me, it wasn't fun to guard him then, and it is just as challenging now for many players.

Steph is a character. He has a great personality and is a very humble person. He has an amazing work ethic, and that is why he is so good today (in addition to some other factors). He has become the best 3-point shooter in the history of the NBA because of what he does behind the scenes. No one sees the hard work and dedication every single day. Obviously he learned the proper fundamentals and had professional trainers and (former NBA star) Dell (Curry) as his dad, but I have never seen someone work so hard every single day. That's what produces greatness when we watch these guys play on TV.

We played a lot of 1-on-1 his freshman year, and I saw then that he was going to be great because of his basketball IQ and shooting ability. He is definitely a blessed basketball player. I created an infographic to show his statistical performance from high school through to the NBA. I still can't believe so many schools passed him up, even VT (Virginia Tech). He was passed up so many times and wanted to prove himself. In addition, Coach McKillop teaches how to play basketball the right way, so his skill and the coaching he received in college helped him become a true superstar.

He could for limited stretches of minutes. Rodman used to guard Shaq effectively for a few minutes here and there because they would let him push the **** of Shaq. It would be a similar thing with Draymond.

completely agree.

most still translate the term big man in the traditional sense, the way the game was played in the 80's, 90s and 00s. in todays game, he can more than handle the role of big man..but a lot of that has to do with the lack of elite post players.

So, I saw that Dwight was trending on Twitter and tried to figure out why (he hired Shaq's agent) and saw his Twitter profile. His tag line currently is "to win a war you have to first surrender" - LOL wut? I'm no expert, but I generally thought you win a war by making the other side surrender. Such a Dwight thing to say. laugh.gif

I just deleted mine recently but when I had one it was just to follow Sports and Music news. Follow my favorite players, teams, artists, and some journalists. If I were a legitimate threat to tweet, I would have kept it. But I'm not a big tweeter. Was more of a small tweeter playing the position.

not knowing a meme, is just not being in touch with the internet/social media. not knowing the congratulations, you played yourself... or you smart, you loyal... just shows ur age lol

I know the meme but don't explain why you had to use it more than once when it wasn't even funny the first time.

once you decipher the above, holla. ill give you a tip, what you think i said, is not what was said. asking why dray isnt a big? refer to the previous posts. congratulations.

Fwiw this size argument is beyond stupid. There's this guy named Charles Barkley who's the same height as a shooting guard and is a top 5 pf ever. Oh and he played during the 90's
