You're thinking of ATL Joe. He doesn't really NEED to ISO and hog the ball. The only year Brooklyn was good, he was primarily spotting up (shot 40% from 3) and posting up depending on matchup. He's pretty unselfish. Put him on Atlanta and he'll adapt. He is really slow though - so running and gunning isn't really his thing.

If the Cavs get Joe Johnson, they might have a chance against the Warriors after all. He opens a whole new world of possibilities for them. Other than finally having a legit backup for LeBron at the 3 position, they could also move LeBron to the 4 and have an intersting small ball lineup against the Warriors:

PG - Kyrie

SG - J.R.

SF - JJ

PF - LeBron

C - Love/Tristan

I would look at OKC if I were Joe. I believe they have the mini-MLE to offer and are starving for competent wing players.

 @ Kobe ignoring that lady

That was classic

He learned from Colorado. He wasn't gonna make that mistake again.

That screen Whiteside set on Curry :x  don't know how/why they didn't call that. Guess they were making up for that being GSW's general offense, even though they totally missed Draymond's dancing screen just awhile later that freed up Curry for that 3

The Nets and Joe Johnson have opened negotiations for a buy-out. :smh:

Every time someone would mention Joe Johnson getting bought lut you would crush my hopes and say there was no chance of happening  Why'd you try to kill my hopes of signing another washed up player? :frown:

The Cavs also have MLE I believe, don't know about the Spurs. If he wants to win, these are the only two teams he has a small chance against the Warriors. Anyone who thinks that OKC have a remotely legit shot at the title is delusional. When it comes down to the wire, it's the same ISOklahoma City crap we've seen for the last half decade. They have zero chance of beating Spurs with home court advantage in the second round, then the Warriors with home court in the WCF, and ultimately Cavs in the finals, who will probably have home court advantage as well. Only chance they would have is if Kawhi, Curry and LeBron get injured in those series.

Well, they could also go with

PG - Delly
SG - Shump
SF - JJ
PF - LeBron
C - Tristan

if they want a more defensive minded lineup.

The Cavs best-performing lineups involve both Love & Thompson & you're not gonna beat GSW going small anyway.

If they try to put Barnes or Iggy at the 4, you gotta run the offense through Love. That should be a mismatch. Or run pnrs with Tristan

no if he wants to win he needs to just sign a minimum  with the warriors and play with that second unit.

Joe Johnson needs to find his way out west.

Going to a team like OKC, SAS or even the Warriors would be a nice fit. I personally think he's better suited to go to SAS. But we all know he will sequentially end up in Cleveland.

Joe would be nice for the Warriors second unit....

Livingston
Barbosa
Johnson
Barnes
Speights

This is one of the best things I've ever seen.  I even think she says can I have a hug to him right before they sit down.

Harden clanged an alley-oop pass off the backboard … that wasn’t a very good alley-oop pass. But it looks like Howard — who was crazy wide open at the post — didn’t even think it was a pass. He thought it was a shot attempt, and he wasn’t prepared to catch the ball. So instead of a cool off-the-backboard alley-oop, it wound up being a turnover. And it left Harden stomping his feet, as Howard threw his hands up into the air in frustration, motioning a shot attempt.

It was almost like a work of art. The setup looked good, then suddenly it spiraled into disaster with extremely animated responses from both Harden and Howard — a beautiful disaster.
