its still too funny that uncharted got banned because he thought ska was a kobe fan and said some dumb ish

And you seem to be missing the point of what she said. She doesn't believe that he's really let bygones be bygones. He's only doing it because he wants to be perceived really well on his way out. Since she's the one who Kobe didn't talk to for 10 years and the one who went through cancer, she's entitled to her opinion on it. Which she shared when someone asked her about it. I see nothing wrong with what she said. If's she wrong and Kobe was being genuine, then its on her.

can someone explain to me why either person is wrong in that situation?

seems like normal human interaction to me given the circumstances

birds stay talking ****. nothing worse than when you try and change and people think youre insincere and don't let you. they want you to be the *** hole. So they set you up and try and piss you off, and they hope you spaz everytime you mad. All the media is on that tmz f boy juice.

i dont think what kb is doing has anything to do with mj.

I don't think either person is wrong. What I enjoy seeing is the double standard Kobe fans use. Just a couple days ago people were ragging on LeBron for caring why people think about him. Now we have someone saying Kobe is faking the funk so he can be liked and some of those NTers are defending it, acting as if it doesn't matter to them, or going after Smith/the media.

Where is this rational human nature comment when it is any other player besides kobe?

ESPN reporter Shelley Smith talks about her recovery from breast cancer and her rocky relationship with Kobe Bryant with The Post’s Justin Terranova.

Q: Is Bryant’s new niceness working?

A: I don’t quite buy it. Everyone I talk to, no one believes it, because he wants to go out beloved like [Michael] Jordan did. He wants to go off into the sunset as a superhero, but we all remember how badly he treated a lot of us.

Q: Where do you think Bryant goes after the NBA?

A: I would be surprised if he stayed in basketball because he burned bridges coming up with players, coaches and front-office personnel. I think he’ll go into some sort of business. He’s very smart business-wise and he has a great brand.
I am really glad she mentioned this.  Everyone drinking that cool-aid, thinking Kobe is some clean good guy.  Know he is full of fakes w/ that fake smile.  He ain't fooling no one.  Realest thing I"ve read in a long while.

All right. I respect your opinion, but not sure I agree with it. Typically, people have to earn the benefit of the doubt. And I don't know that Kobe has in this situation. But its not for me to say. In the end, I agree with those who are saying nobody did anything wrong here. Genuine or not, it was good for Kobe to make the gesture to talk to Smith again. But she also has the right to question his motives.

Welp, I'm now more of a fan of Shelley.

And lawdog.

tbh it would be kind of disappointing if kobe retires and is nice to everyone for the rest of his life

kobe swallowed his pride and made an attempt to make things right.  shelley overthought a simple gesture and continued to slander the guy.

i dont think its very hard to tell whos the bigger person here

I was slightly confused at the article though, at first I thought she was the girl kobe refused to hug in memphis

That's kinda one thing that people do that drives me crazy: somebody could be an ******* their entire life -- a miserable curmudgeon that hates everyone. The second they die people come together to "remember just how amazing and loving they were."

Nah, eff that. A lifetime of douchebaggery doesn't go out the window just because you pass or change suddenly.

Why do we assume the wose in people?

Shelly could have just as easily assumed that Kobe butied the hatchet, and has let the past be just that. But she chose to believe he's faking it. Why?

Being nice is a good thing. Who cares if he's faking it, or not? The point is, is that he performed a nice gesture towards you. Dont overthink it, and if you must overthink it, let those thoughts be positive.

Think and assume the best from people. Pessimistic people suck to be around
