What are we going to do once KD signs w/ The Dubs?
It can't happen. I'm going to need Stern to come back from retirement and step in.

Dude's have their minds made up that we are saying that Roberson should have AGGRESSIVELY pressured Steph, which is an AUTOMATIC blow by, and then Klay's man would help off for an open three.Lol its called light pressure man.
Sometimes pressure is only meant to take time off the clock. By roberson not retreating and making steph chance directions ONCE, could have potentially changed the outcome for okc.
This..God forbid Cp3 plays with kb24..still salty about thatIt can't happen. I'm going to need Stern to come back from retirement and step in.
I don't get it.

This pic is hilariousss
Even those who wanted to keep the oft injured curry instead of Ellis in the bogut trade didn't know he would be this good.Steph is a fool and a half for that shot
And GS fans wanted this dude off the team

Some pressure to just make him change direction just a bit is way better than having the best player in the league get his in 2nd gear, even if it's from 35. It's 6 seconds. From a probability perspective, the chances of Steph or anyone else making a play if you make him go east and west for one or two of those six seconds decrease dramatically.
Also, if you watch the play again the Thunder are in complete trot mode transitioning from offense to defense. That can NEVER happen against GSW, but especially with the game on the line.

Yeahhhh,You guys are also talking like OKC knew Steph was going to take a 40 foot shot. It's not like OKC was up 3 and they knew GS had to take a 3 to tie. It was a tied game. A lot of different options that could've played out. Obviously, I'm sure if they knew Steph had a 40 foot shot in mind they would've played it different - in hindsight.
what year is this?

Even people who wanted Monta traded instead of Curry had not even CLOSE to a clue he'd be this good....hell NOBODY, not even currys biggest fan since Davidson thought he'd ever be this good which is why I laugh at these clowns acting like they knew steph would be great.

Yeahhhh,
you're missing the point though.
It lowkey has nothing to do about the shot steph chose to take. With 6 seconds left, you want your team to bust their tail to get in front of the ball, and you want some sort of pressure on the ball to make the clock work against the offensive player. It's not like steph got the ball and took off running. He was coasting, there was enough time for Roberson to pick him up and try and make him change directions at least once.
That to me is a way better alternative than having the best player in the league coast up the court. The shot he chose to shoot is irrelevant to the logic behind what I feel should have been done. You should never be in full retreat like roberson was with 6 seconds left.
Why is this even a debate
Expecting, maybe not.
Why is this even a debate (besides DC's obvious involvement)
No one is expecting him to pull up from that distance.
Yes, it's Steph, yes he's doing this kind of banana **** all the time. Yes I've had too much tequila. But I'm not faulting anyone for not covering a player that far away from the basket. Sure, he should have been covered at soon as he had the ball, but whatever.
He hit the game winner from 38 ******* feet.
Let's just appreciate the shenanigans we just saw.
