Draymond will win it, for the sake for argument and subject the media can talk about in the future.

Golden State Warriors won back to back 67+ win season and championships. Players Finals MVP, Back to back season MVP and leading scorer and DPOY.... ect

I feel like he might not play enough minutes for voters to consider him over the other guys. Especially with Dray and Leonard still being great defenders and their names growing bigger and bigger. Reputation might trump if anything else

I don't see why not. The Spurs are the best defensive team in the league and he's their best defensive player.

The Sixers hope that Joel Embiid, taken third overall in 2014, will finally make his NBA debut next season.

The 7-2, 265-pounder had bone graft surgery in August to repair the navicular bone in his right foot. He will miss the entire season. He missed what would have been his rookie season after surgery in June 2014 to repair a stress fracture in the same bone.

Similar players, Okafor and Embiid are an unlikely pairing. They are both liabilities guarding athletic power forwards and chasing stretch fours on the perimeter. So the belief is that the Sixers may try to move Okafor this summer if Embiid is healthy. If he isn’t, they have to decide between Okafor and Noel.

The Boston Herald had reported that the Sixers had a deal in place to trade Okafor to the Boston Celtics at the Feb. 18 trade deadline. The team denied that report and has always publicly praised the rookie. And it should. He’s been fun to watch on the offensive end.

I thought Embiid was a young Hakeem? He can't guard stretch PF's though? Hmm

Not sure embiid and nerlens fit much better than oak and embiid. They're gonna have to two of em IMO (if they can) for pennies on the dollar

Man the accuracy of the rest of that though... roll.gif
post #77332 of 93193

6th man is such a pointless award

Pretty sure Vic O or Barton will get it. Lin also getting love from media... interesting

First team will probably shake out that way, but the rest of it is super wrong.

LeBron doesnt deserve First Team

Lebron shouldn't be first team. Neither should Anthony Davis with the amount of time he's missed. But they probably will be included on principle
post #77335 of 93193

Anthony Davis most certainly will not end up on first team

Lebron doesn't deserve 1st team tho? He's not that terrible laugh.gif. Neck and neck between him and kd

What do you think would be a good return if they do trade Oak to the Celtics? Smart + a couple of first rounders? Maybe Smart + the Nets pick if Brooklyn falls 3rd or lower? That seems to be a fair trade.
I'm saying, he may be a f boy but he deserves first team as much as anybody. If he won it's not like you can say anybody else got robbed like draymouth did of dpoy to a guy that missed almost 20 games.

I think both of those would be a good return, mostly the second trade. Oak if nothing else is gonna be an elite scorer so it's only right to get something decent in return. Might be hard to do that with all his issues tho, teams are gonna lowball Philly because they've been painted into a corner and have little to no leverage.
