what people don't realize is, for some shooters, shooting a longer, uncontested 3 is easier than shooting a closer semi-contested or contested 3. i stay shooting hella far out from the 3 bc people don't expect it so i normally get a clean look.

Wizards fans hate him because Kyrie's name has always (up until this year) been above Wall in terms of who is better. People think Wall is overshawdowed by Kyrie undeservingly.
He is easily the most talked about non-Wizard, by Wizards fan as it relates to the Wizard's season

Depends on what is around him.
If he has a bigger PG next to him that is more of a distributor, think of Shaun Livingston in his younger days when he was a "Pure PG, then yea that might work.
But who is he going to guard at the other end if that isn't the case

Trash as a NBA PG. You can't convince me otherwise. He's proven it over his career to this point. If scoring is all it takes then he's great at all positions. No vision, no passing ability, can't run offense and makes no one better. Trash as a PG.

Kyrie biggest negative for me is his defense, I can deal with him not being smart on offense but to be dumb on both ends kills me.
Having him spot up and shoot threes should be his strong point but he doesn't even effectively move without the ball, lol

It's true. When I first heard the Phil quote, I kind of laughed, but then I thought about it more and it is a pretty accurate comparison. Not saying Chris Jackson/MAR was as good, but had a similar game.
