He's arguably having the greatest offensive season ever, especially if it's the post 1980 3 point line era. But he really isn't that great of a defender.

John Wall had a season high 41 points along with 10 assists against him a couple of weeks ago. Lowry had a 41 point game against him this season as well. I remember the Pistons role player Caldwell-Pope had a very good game against him when the Pistons beat them this season. Kyrie at 70% had a very good game against him in game 1 of the finals before he went down entirely and later that series Dellavedova had the highest scoring game he had that season and playoffs against him.

Here you have KCP knocking down a bunch of contested off the dribble jumpers. Not like Steph is playing matador defense.

He's not Gary Payton, but he can hold his own on that end. He's certainly not hurting GSW on that end of the floor.

i couldnt hate him any more then i already do. its funny to me. im just waiting till dude is out the l and we wont have to hear about his punk as tendencies ever again.

Let's not make excuses for Steph...even GSW knows he's a weak defender that reaches way too much. He may start out gaurding...Wall, CP3, Dame...but he quickly gets switched to the weakest offensive player on the floor. Teams have started to get hip to this and go to the guy he's gaurding but you can only do that so much. You not gonna have the 4th or 5th best player on the floor take 20 shots especially when GSW is droppin' dagger 3's on you.

So I'm going to run the offense through you then turn around & ask you to defend elite offensive players on the other end when I have THREE other capable perimeter defenders on the roster?

exactly what i was talking about the other day is being talked about on dan and stugotzz.tim legler just stated what i did and dudes were arguing with me the other night.

 lebron was never must see tv. he was never close to being as entertaining as steph is. dudes were arguing that lebron was what steph is . 

he was never that.
