Steph Curry has broken NBA 2k

"To be completely honest, we are still looking for ways to better translate his game into NBA 2K," says Wang. "He's a ‘rule breaker' when it comes to jump shooting ... he becomes a problem in the video game world where we've been trying to train our gamers [to know] that certain types of shots should be rewarded versus others."

"We're going to have to invest even more time in future iterations to really let Steph be Steph in future versions of NBA 2K."

They should just make the game where his sliders are permanently up

He's about to hit 60% of those 80 footers from Double Dribble back in the day.

Or have him lookin like this..........

I was just about to bring up the Beyoncé thing.

Beyoncé > that random chick in the Curry picture.

The rule change argument is coming withe the way Steph is dominating just like it did Shaq.

Do we change the rules?

should the line be moved back?

Should we bring back hand checking??

That draft is looking like a barren wasteland right now in hindsight  :x

Eh.

Giannis looks special. Gobert, McCollum, Noel, & Schroeder are all talented as well.

Dipo, Porter, Steven Adams are rock solid rotation guys.

MCW, Len, Zeller, KCP, Shabazz, Olynyk, Dieng, Plumlee will all be in the league for a while.

Draft wasn't that bad.

I mean it bothers me that TJ Warren was amazing to watch in college. Insanely entertaining. unending array of floaters, hesitation moves, and spins but a fundamentally useless NBA player because he can't shoot 3's.

Probably should've specified the top part of the draft, there's some solid players but not the kind of impactful guys you expect from those high lottery picks. At least in comprison to the loaded drafts during the years before

bron top 5 athlete all time. no question. but skill for skill, dude legit never even got the fundamentals of basketball down. He cant go a single play without traveling or committing a foul. He can't dribble. He can't shoot. those are day 1 lessons they teach to 5 yr olds.
So lebron not skilled now?

He "never got the fundamentals down"?

Ahhhh man, y'all have a great day. Not today satan. See y'all later [emoji]9996[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]️[emoji]9996[/emoji][emoji]127998[/emoji]

Don't guys still do the zig zag 3 point cheese with just about anyone? Haven't played in a while

Perimeter shooting is pretty tough in 2k16. It feels like if it's slightly contested, it's an automatic miss, even with Curry. With previous versions it was a lot easier to hit 3s

The NBA doesn't need another one player driven rule change. Leave the lines where they are.

Freeze is the homie but for real... LeBron has no skill? Really, he can't dribble? What about his passing ability? His court vision?

My fellow Laker fans. :smh:

This reminds me of when in the past dunking was banned. Steph found the cheat code, let him flourish.

People still do that zig zag BS until they get space with Curry :smh:

Not even going for a crossover just going from right to left for the whole shot clock

but if they change the line, it hurts every other player that can't shoot that far. it doesnt hurt curry, he'll just start launching from 50. if they move it closer, it just makes it easier for him. You cant stop curry with rules my g's. it has to be defense.

Stephen Curry Named Western Conference Player of the Week

Reigning MVP Averaged 43.8 Points During 4-0 Week to Earn Fourth Weekly Award this Season
Posted: Feb 29, 2016

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has been named the NBA Western Conference Player of the Week for games played Monday, February 22, through Sunday, February 28, the NBA announced today. The award is the fourth such honor for Curry this season, making him the first player in Warriors history to win the award four times in a single season and giving him a franchise-record six career weekly accolades.

Curry led the Warriors to a 4-0 week by averaging 43.8 points, 7.3 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.50 steals in 35.8 minutes and hitting 60.8 percent from the field and 61.1 percent from three-point range (33-of-54). During the week, Curry tied the single-game NBA record for three-point field goals with 12 on Feb. 27 at Oklahoma City—equaling the record on a game-winner with 0.6 seconds remaining in overtime—and broke his own single-season three-point record (currently at 288 threes) in addition to setting a new NBA-mark for consecutive regular-season games with a three-pointer, which now stands at 129-straight games. Curry became the first player in NBA history to hit double-digit threes in back-to-back games (Feb. 25-27) and now has five such games in his career (three this season), more than any player in league annals.

The reigning MVP scored at least 30 points in all four games during the week, matching a career-best streak, while becoming the first Warrior since Rick Barry in 1967 to score at least 40 points in three-straight contests (Feb. 24-27), including his third 50-point effort of the season (fifth career) with 51 points on Feb. 25 at Orlando. According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Curry’s 43.8 points are the most by any player in the NBA over a four-game stretch since Kobe Bryant in March 2007, and the most by any player over the course of four-straight games on the road since Michael Jordan in Nov. 1992. Curry is the first player to average at least 43 points on better than 60 percent shooting over a four-game period since Jordan did so from March 26 – April 1, 1990.

With the 4-0 week, Golden State closed out a seven-game road stretch with a 6-1 mark for the second time this season, improving to 53-5 (.914) on the campaign, the best mark through 58 games in NBA history. The Warriors earned their franchise-record 29th road win on Feb. 27 at Oklahoma City, eclipsing the previous mark of 28 set last season. Golden State clinched a playoff berth on Feb. 27, becoming the first team to clinch a spot in the postseason in February since the 1987-88 Lakers.

The award marks the 41st time a Warriors player has been named Player of the Week since the NBA began giving out the award in 1979, including the fifth time this season (Draymond Green earned the other accolade for Golden State). Toronto’s Kyle Lowry was named Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference.

Don't change anything. Hold every player accountable on defense. It'll make them better in the end.

... even though I wouldn't mind seeing hand checking again. :nerd: lol
