I watch a lot of youth basketball u16 u18 tournaments, if you guys think that this isn't a trend towards EVERYONE running the exact same offense you aren't paying attention.

but why do you care so much?

why do you want players who can't score off a jumper to be in the league so bad?

people who are good at things outside of that still exist. Boogie, AD, BumassBron...

I like variety, I like to see different strategies, and I like seeing guys who can, handle, pass, and score inside. not just stand in a spot and shoot 35% from 3.

how does it makes sense that a corner three should be worth so much more than every spot on court? It was fine when it was just a couple teams exploiting this

but when everyone is hunting the same shots basketball will be less interesting.

Boogie shoots above league average from three

Boogie, an awesome post, scorer, passer ball handler, is taking 3.5 attempts per.

and even if he shot 33% it's smarter to shoot them.

Why is that good?

I don't know that it's good or bad. I personally couldn't care less. I'm going to watch regardless

Actually it's not good for him to be taking that many 3s

What's wrong it? He's having his best season as a pro. He's also getting to the line more than ever so you can't say him taking 3 threes per game is somehow taking away from his post game.

CLE just missed like 5 straight three's on one possession and then Indy comes down and drains a 3 at the 24 second buzzer

he can get on the offensive glass and do what he's actually good at.

look we can all agree to disagree. but don't come crying to me when everyone is running the houston rockets offense.

Offensive glass from 18+ feet out? Really doubt the numbers are all that different from when he shoots a 3. Off of a jumpshot from that range, he's really only getting an extra long rebound or a tipped rebound. Puts absolutely no pressure on the rebounding team off a miss.

Why are long 2s good?

Is Lebron that bad on d now where they have to hide him on Myles turner and let Jr guard Paul George?

Man, how bad did Kidd ruin the Bucks?

I mean, he has such poor guards that he has to play the Starters 40mpg.

Injuries have happened yea but, when Bayless should be on minute restriction and has to play 17minites in the first half because MCW is hurt now and Mayo is bad at Basketball, you may need to re-evaluate your life decisions.

What could have been, if he only kept Knight.

Gortat tied his career high with 18 REBs and Wall killing in the 4th.

Edit: new career high 19 REBs. Wizards the only team with 2 players with 30 plus double doubles.

I'm not saying long two's are good, because this implies that every 3 point shot would have just been a long two.

I'm saying that there players who in another era would be incredibly entertain can't get on the floor because 3 point shots disproportionatly valuable.

Could Dominqiue Wilkins have had the same career in todays NBA?

Hard to imagine Kevin Mchale is a HOFer if he was drafted in 2013

Adrien Dantley? Bernard King?

All guys who have entertaining ways of playing basketball but there careers might not have not have been able to show it because we have arbitrarily decided that 23 ft is worth 3 points.

I don't believe that Kyrie wants out. It's a false rumor.

He touches the ball as much as LeBron and even gets to close games when he wants.

They have been no.1 in the East all season and haven't made the finals, let alone the playoffs, when LeBron was gone.
