are you serious? lol

Bruh at least the ***** plays. You gotta be off the molly

Why is it ok for guys in baseball to take days off for rest when they play a sport that's less demanding physically? Because they play twice as many games?
Another thing to factor in is some teams charge different prices for games depending on the team that's playing. This is determined before the season even starts. I'm talking face value box office prices, not stubhub resale prices.

Some teams will have their box office prices cost significantly less when the 76ers come to down while the box office prices will be significantly Higher when teams like the warriors and cavs come to town.

The Cavs were an undesirable draw 3 years ago. Now their a premier team and their tix are in demand. A team would charge way less for that games tix in 2013 then they would now and there's an obvious reason for that.

When the obvious reason is fully healthy and sits out but the fans paid more at the box office becsuse that one player made that game a "premium matchup" the fans have every right to pissed.

Calm down. You don't have to defend your lrecious warriors on this one. I was being facetious.

Chris Paul is about to get some well-deserved rest before the playoffs start. If some casul fan bought tickets expecting to see him, oh well.

This is coming from a season ticket holder btw.

Baseball tickets are generally less expensive then NBA tickets.

When a team comes to town, they usually play a 3-4 game set so if someone really wanted to see Bryce Harper play, they have multiple opportunities to see him play during that series whereas NBA teams visit road cities either once or twice a season.c

And if a guy takes 3 games off because of his kid being born, is that ok? Or are the fans being screwed over yet again?
A child being born is different then sitting out just because though.
Because a Child being born should be thought of in the same vein as rest.

This is false.

Dudes think all that yelling and screaming is indictive of being "intense". John Wall goes just as hard on the floor as Westbrook.

I get 12 weeks of paid bonding time as soon as we adopt or give birth to a child. Players should be able to take 3 months off, too.

Idk how the league would crack down on resting players. Couldn't pop just say Kawhi had flu-like symptoms? Then say he's day-to-day after straining something during practice? laugh.gif

Just say he's got diarrhea and stomach problems.

No one ever questions diarrhea.

Byron is and idiot and a ****** basketball coach but he isn't a buster, it's clear to me he met D'angelo and could smell the snitch like arrogance off him and decided he needed to be taken down a peg. You can tell how Mike Wilbon (friends with Byron) talks about Dlo, like he the scum of the earth, clearly this isn't the first time Dangelo displayed snitch like tendencies. mean.gif

No joke...I was thinking the same thing. Byron MAY have been on to something when he was yo-yo'ing Russell's minutes and with the comments he was giving to the media earlier on.

So, what exactly do the Lakers do from here?
Earlier this season a couple of us on here weren't defending Byron or anything but was just pointing out that it's a lot that goes on in practice/ off the court that factors into coaching decisions as well ...But all they wanted to hear was "everything is Byrons fault" laugh.gif

And this story really is blowing up , walked around the corner in my office n heard something about "Kobe, Colorado, recording n snitch" from this old dude and some chicks that never talk sports laugh.gif

Kobe is a snitch too :lol

Finally saw what RJ did. Westbrook is my favorite player but he is a sucker for that ****. Reggies celebrationwas tamer than the 2 guns holster you do everytime you make a 3, which is only like 30 percent of the time . And neither team is making the finals so I don't know when this down the line is that you'll see in again other than next season

I have no problem with teams resting players. It's a necessary evil and a risk you take when buying a ticket especially late season, just like you don't know if said player is going to be injured or otherwise unavailable.

did lebron finally get into game shape, is that why he is being rested?

I think the reggie thing is more about what he was saying than what he was doing. Look at how Steven Adams and the ref had to step to him. I'm guessing he was saying some wild disrespectful **** seeing how him and Russ already had bad blood. Plus he really didn't even have a good game to be doing all that
post #78598 of 93193
Damn DLo's been called worse than a cannibal and now he has multiple people defending Byron Scott. I'm ready for Silver to hold a press conference and exile him from the league.

yea them two not liking each other is a bigger issue. The thing with the reporters sitting in the chair and Russ scolding him and telling him it's a player's only chair and he can't sit there, only to then have Reggie promptly roll his chair across the locker room to the reporter is like the ultimate "**** you." Reggie still could have handled his final year here better, certainly played better, and we undoubtedly should have gotten more for him than Augustin and Singler.
