Clips been the best defense in the league since AS break but my man said they are a "terrible defense" team.

Aight.

Jokes aside, do we really expect Durant to sign with Golden State? It's one thing to join other players on a new team and try for a title, it's another thing for an MVP to join a historic team to win one. I couldn't imagine he actually signs with GS

I just don't think it would work. Adding a ball-dominant scorer would hinder them, especially considering what they'd have to give up to get him.

Don't put it past Joe Lacob and Company. They're always looking for a splash. Had no idea we'd land Igoudola back in 2013

Yeah, but the move made sense. They needed a defensive stopper who could give them some bursts of offense. They don't need another scorer who needs the ball in his hands. That's not how you win in the NBA. I mean, we're seeing it with OKC. They have two alpha dogs who don't know what to do with each other at the end of games. And you're trying to put one of them in with Steph (alpha) and Klay (alpha lite)? Disaster.

Lots of truth in this post

Rumor has it barnes wants the most money he can get. Which means no matter what happens warriors depth will suffer. I rather have 4 all stars with no bench (curry, klay, dray, kd) than 3 AS and still no bench.

Adding Iggy in 2013 is not the same as adding Durant in 2016.

It would just be so bizarre to me to have the MVP from 2 years ago and top 3/5/whatever NBA player join up with the reigning MVP's championship team that might break the single season record.

I know they'd have to lose some players so it's not adding KD to this exact roster, but still.. it would never feel real to me. KD to the Warriors is something I'd do in 2K or trade machine.

Oh and that shot was just as bad as I imagined for Russy.

I'm sure he was thinking "Oh they're going to foul me", but the odds of getting that call <<<<<< taking a more controlled shot.

Warriors won't be losing much to get KD. Barnes doesn't play aggressive enough and AI and Bogut are aging, pending FAs. Your sacrificing 1 year of having Barnes, AI and Bogut on the team instead of 4-5 years with KD. This is basically a Barnes for KD trade, then they can sign over the hill role players to shore up the bench

GSW will sign Barnes to his not-so-ridiculous contract.
It won't be as crazy as it seems, though it won't be irrational to call him overpaid.

GSW was hardly a wreck without Barnes while he was injured this year but, his whatever he brings was definitely missed. I don't think they want to replace what they have even if it's better talent or cheaper talent.

I forgot. I'm trying to be rational on NT about a possible KD-Steph-Klay combo. What was I thinking? Yes, put all those scorers together. It'll be perfect.

That 1-2-3-4 Qtr scoring :x Spurs defense sucking the life out of a team

With Barnes, I think this is plausible for sure we'll see.

Just saw the Suns play 5 of their next 6 on the road, the sixth of which is at GSW.
