I saw a cut block, which is perfectly legal. Then I saw Draymond Green try to get his Tatanka on and go for the crucifix slam, but he botched it. Botched moves can seriously hurt someone. Shame on Draymond for attempting a move at a live show he's never practiced.

Rollin into nim was legal? In what sport? laugh.gif should of been a foul before the ball which is FTs and possession. Whatever it's over

from RealGM:

Before the draft, Embiid was the clear top choice. He was going to Cleveland. He broke his foot and the that made room for Wiggins to go first and then traded for Love. So if Embiid never got hurt do you still think LeBron trades him to Minnesota for Love? Embiid would have been a dominant force for LeBron in the post. LeBron would have been free to roam around doing what he does and then Kyrie would do his thing. A team of LeBron Embiid and Kyrie would have been interesting. I don't think LeBron trades Embiid. I think LeBron would have seen a potential dominant post presence and would think that's better than Love.

I know LeBron is in win now mode and doesn't want young guys but Embiid is different. Wiggins played on the wing like LeBron so I think LeBron didn't want a rookie playing in the same area that he did. Embiid plays in a different area thus I think he would have stayed.

This. You can't completely take Draymond out of the play like that before the ball is even inbounded. I'm pretty sure that's why they let the ensuing contact go afterwards because Draymond was basically getting up after being submarined and it was chaotic, even though there was hella contact on that screen laugh.gif

Shoulda been FT's and the Warriors ball but the refs had been letting them play and you could tell they wanted to just let it play out, which I think is the right move.

GS was playing like a team that just wants to be in the postseason already. I don't blame them. And yet gs still could've had a chance to go to ot if Barnes didn't goof.

I hope Kerr makes him watch the last possession over and over again

No sir.
We actually watched the game so we know Evan took a big slip on a wet spot, he didn't "slide tackle" anyone.

I honestly don't know how someone could even look at just that vine and think what Turner did was intentional. Who purposely slides backwards into someone like that? If it was on purpose, I've never see anything like it in a basketball game.

Still a foul, I'm sure the NBA will apologize for such an awful officiated series

Damn, I missed that rule change in the offseason where fouls are only fouls if the player did it on purpose. laugh.gif

It may have been a foul.
One thing it was not, was a slide tackle

Inadvertent slip which resulted in a slide tackle - which is a foul.

Regardless, it should have never come to that play.  Too many mistakes and the Celtics hit big shots the entire 2nd half.

There are three loses that stick out (Bucks, Spurs, and now Celtics) where Curry's defender was allowed to put his hands on him all game.  I'm not saying nothing, I'm just saying ...

You called it a chop block so you're referring to football. That is a cut block. Call that a foul if you want but Harrison Barnes also had two arms fully extended shoving out his defender which is an offensive foul and draymond still got up with intention to set a screen he wasn't going to make in time. He didn't. He was moving on yet another screen that wasn't called.

^ Slide tackle happened before Barnes "shoved" his defender ... Also shoving happens all the time on those plays. Slide tackles don't.

Also illegal screens are here to stay, get used to it.

Dell lasted the entire 90's so I think he'll be okay.

Probably wouldn't have a signature shoe, though.

3 out of 70+ games the refs allow defenders to get handsy with Steph?

Every game out of Every game refs can't even see or recognize a moving screen so you get a way with it.

I'd stop complaining

I love the adaptation on the nit picking.  This moving screen hot take is no longer cute because you arm chair refs only seem to spot moving screens when Draymond does it.

For the record, I wasn't complaining.  I was connecting the dots and stating the Warriors haven't found a counter after they dismissed that Dellavedova was a factor last year.

"When I look at our 7 losses, I look at 'em & say. 'ah, 3 teams really beat us.' I'd say Port, Detroit, the Lakers," Green said on KNBR before the team lost again on Friday, Diamond Leung tweeted.
