Yikes.

I'm sure they'll try and spin it tho.

Was kawhi hurt last playoffs? Or did the system fail him?

Late to the conversation but Harden is trash. A 6th man pretending to be a star. He had a turnover stretch this season of 5 or more in 8 strait games. I don't fully remember the stat but it's one of the worst since the NBA started recording turnovers. He's also one of the worst defenders I've ever seen. His whole NBA career is based on ref bailouts and a marketable beard.

He's not a top 5 SG or top 10 player. IMO

As much as I don't like harden, he's still a top 5 SG in the league (just based off the thin quality of SGs in the league now). When dudes say he's top 10 though roll.gif

hand injury throughout the second half of the season, pink-eye earlier in the year as well
was anyone actually expecting them to win the chip last yr?

pop with the unnecessary fouling and not putting in mills more killed them

it'll be interesting if pop sits tp/manu/timmy more this year in the playoffs
they play better when those guys are limited in mins

Structurally, grammatically, and literally, that makes perfect sense.

"I care about my mom so much that there is definitely room for me to care less."

The thing that doesn't fit in your mind is that if you're talking about someone you care about, you don't WANT to care less, so the sentence doesn't fit, mentally. "I could care less about my mom, but I don't want to" is where your mind is having trouble processing "I could care less."

This is the crux of it. If it's something I'm so uninvested in hence I COULD care less, basically saying I don't give af one way or the other. On the reverse side if you say something like "I couldn't care less about my mom" that can kinda be taken either way.

But I can't tell if you're agreeing with me laugh.gif

Never a good look when you like scumbag springer...homie needs a makeover.

I'll share my Jerry encounter with y'all....

So I'm picking up a relative at they're work place in downtown Chicago (this was back when they filmed the Springer show here). And just like any major city you have to move around quick in the downtown area, specially on Michigan Ave (the magnificent mile).

The light hits green and I start going, doing about 35-38mph. I see some old dirtbag just casually strolling and trying to Jwalk and cross the street all casual like its a runway fashion show....so I said screw it I'm going to maintain my speed and force this dirtbag to move faster.
Well as I pass him by and he does this hilarious little sprint, I hear him call me of types of names.....little did I know that was Springer and little did he know I was picking up my relative at the end of that block.

So I pull over and pick up my relative and as he passes me by I asked him to repeat what he called me. He gave me this hateful look and called me an "a-hole".....so I called him a pariah and a leech to society...well he decides to give me the finger. At this point I get out my car and yell at him "Steve ain't here to save you Jerry, I will f#%! Up your world", at that point he ain't look at me anymore and just proceeded to power walk his way down the block.

That interview clip of Harden is interesting. Years later he still thinks "What if" about OKC. He probably sees being in Houston ain't gon get him a ring and he had a great bond/chemistry with Durant and Westbrook. And in Houston it's turned into a mess with Dwight and that group.

Besides a few players possibly regressing, injuries seem to be the biggest difference from last year... not that it definitely correlates to Howard but of the few things....

Precisely.
I mean everybody was hurt this year except for Harden/Ariza/Howard

Howard didn't play b2b's until like after the ASG, I'm sure that pissed the vets off.

That mess of a situation w/Lawson. These dudes never got it going; that's not on Harden

Agree. Something kind of turns me on about smashing a girl who's better at hoops than me - and it also pretty cute.

No way.

Morey Gawd is going to take those two max contracts they'll have available this summer and sign KD, Conley, and, after working a bit of that Morey Magic, Whiteside. Rockets will definitely be all right.

To stay on topic, Yao Ming is HOF for historical reasons. Son brought the Chinese market to the NBA.

Really interested to see where Dwight winds up this Summer. With all his baggage, declining production and the money he's going to want, I don't think there's going to be as many teams interested as he probably thinks.
