Rockets, Blazers, Nuggets and Suns of the 80's weren't as bad as the teams in the East of today. Those teams were winning between 52-60 games in the regular season.

But the West was def weaker then, and the Lakers were the clear favorite year in and year out. You do have a point on that end slightly.

I just pick a random year 1984...

Rockets 29-53
Blazers 48-34
Nuggets 38-44
Suns 41-41

Now you pick a random 80s year using the same teams. Go.

1988

Lakers - 62-20
Nuggets - 54-28
Mavericks - 53-29
Blazers - 53-29
Jazz - 47-35

Forgot about Dallas: They won 55 games that year.

Compare that to how many 50 win teams were in the East last year. 2.

It would be different if he was losing in the Eastern Conference but he's been to 5 straight NBA Finals.

He was drafted by an Eastern Conference Team also, so it's not much of a business decision there. In 2010 most of the viable teams were in the East. In 2014, he chose to return home.

There's some things to criticize Lebron about but this isn't one.

Boston went four straight in the tough 80s. LeBron went five straight. What's Magic and Kareems excuse? No hate on them both great players but the double standards is crazy.

LeBron played in a lockout year and the other 50 win teams were knock out before LeBron could play them. Like the bulls in 2012 or the knicks in 2013. Not LeBrons fault.
Is this really an excuse for Leb-leb now?

LeBron Stans in midseason form

He's also beaten 7 teams.

How often do you hear Wade referred to as the GOAT or put in peoples top 10-15 tho?

Wades numbers and achievements aren't what LeBrons is or will be though.

If Wade is a All Time great and LeBron is clearly better then him. That tells me LeBron is in GOAT territory.

LeBron wouldn't have championships without Wade.

Wade got his without LeBron.

LeBron isn't even remotely close to GOAT territory. Top 25 definitely.

LeBron is easily a top ten player. No question about that. Youngest player to reach 25,000. Yikes.

It only took four games into the NBA Season for he first LeBron debate to happen. Next year lets shoot for opening night.
