You know, the one thing I took from that interview was when Smitty said somthing like  'you're the one who killed the Dunk contest, no Superstar wanted in it at that time because they didn't want to face you'

By the time Carter was done Dunking I could only imagine the new Superstars had grown used to saying "Stars don't do the Dunk Contest nomo" and with that they didn't have to 1. Do it and 2. Be embarrassed if they lost.

We all dog Lebby for never doing it but, at some point the Stars before him made it okay to never try never fail? Just a thought

It's funny how dudes were dogging lavine for doing similar dunks and jumping from inside the line when Vince literally did the same dunk from two different angles, another dunk Kobe had already done years before, a pretty basic between the legs and finished it off with an inside the free throw line dunk, but his dunks were considered the greatest.

Most overrated dunk contest champ ever

All i know is that Aaron Gordon was robbed and he was cool for using props. Lavine was impressive as well. That half time, no look dunk was good as well.

Vince was a beast in game though...
 
Without question, goat in game dunker. Overrated dunk champ due to Magic Johnson jizzing himself on the play by play. Only his first dunk deserved a 50
