Agree with this generally. But I also don't think you can compare a number 3 pick in the NBA draft who is making millions of dollars to the average 19 year old. That guy has much more at stake than most dumb-*** college kids. He has a limited window of time to get the most out of his abilities. Provides extra incentive to have things under control. And I'm not saying he shouldn't go out and enjoy himself sometimes - he should - but there's a way to do that without getting in trouble and putting yourself at risk. He needs to figure that out. Getting a better support system around himself would probably help.

Writing the kid off already definitely would be an overreaction, but acting like there's no cause for concern is also a mistake, IMO. He probably will be fine, but he probably needs to rethink some of his behaviors to get there.

I completely agree with this. I just don't think that his age should be an excuse. There are plenty of 19 year olds that come through the league, and you never hear about anything of this nature, let alone multiple incidents within a month. Reminds me of some Aldon Smith type ****. 

And lets all be honest... he didn't hire a "security guard", his agent hired a babysitter for him.

The first 3 I'll chalk up as immaturity, the last 2 not so much. At that point your life and rep is at stake.

Despite Freeze's concerns the guys is just going to disappear, I'm pretty sure Kobe is going to remain around the NBA after he retires in one capacity or another. He's crazy competitive and loves the spotlight. Coaching wouldn't be right for him, so management or ownership makes sense.

Could definitely see him guesting on the TNT broadcasts occasionally too.

at 19. you shouldnt really be doing something like that. you should be playing video games or hitting up eateries or studying film or working out.

Smitch has that TWolf squad playing at least. He just trolls and purposely loses winnable games.

Byron has that Laker squad in shambles. Swaggy P is being forced to be the voice of reason. Squad is flawed but they have talent.

Jah just a product of Chiraq :smokin

His mom died early and he had to move to Chi with his pops who was a wild head before Jah moved in with him. Half the lames in here ragging on him couldn't ever understand what it takes to come out of or cope with certain situations.
