please explain.
He'll be better than house at the end of his career because he can handle the rock, and perhaps as long as he stays healthy he can transition into his late 30's like nash did, then this whole Eddie house thing becomes ridiculous.

However, it's not inconceivable (or may be to you) towards the end of his career he becomes a player that his better off the ball than on it  due to his prolific shooting ability. He's not athletic by any means, size could become an issue late in his career, etc. so if he can't play P&R effectively late in his career as a primary ball handler, I could see teams moving him off the rock to a back up undersized 2 guard role in order to maximize what he does best and in that regard, a better eddie house is not out of the realm of possibility to me.

When Steph leaves for Charlotte in a few years do you guys think he will be as effective as he is now?

dude said Eddie House

Eddie could barely dribble up the court

i see curry retiring before he takes on the eddie house role
Perhaps.

However look at the track record for most NBA superstars. Careers hardly ever end well and most superstars end up either retiring due to decline and injury, or they take on lesser roles until there is no role left for them to take.

Yeah, could easily see him being the Barry Sanders of the NBA and bowing out while still basically at the top of his game. Except, unlike Barry, Steph will have already won at least one title. And the way things are looking now, it will probably be more than one.

And I think all shoeking2102 shoeking2102 meant by the Eddie House thing was a PG-sized SG.

But Steph's handle is so elite that I really don't see him losing the ability to effective run P&R, even if he slows down a lot.

Bowing out at the top of his game? Really? That's an optimistic viewpoint of how he'll end his career IMO.

What players, and by players I really mean guards, especially around Steph's size, end their careers at the top of their games?

steph already better than ray allen
/discussion

but honestly, i thought jimmer was gonna do what steph is doing

Pretty much none in the NBA. That's why I used Barry Sanders as a comparison. I'm not saying its likely. You're right that history says it won't happen, but it could. That's all I'm saying.

is r/nba any good?

Great for highlights (videos and .gifs), but a lot of circle jerking. That being said, there is some good original content by the users, and (thankfully) it's marked as original content (OC) so it's easy to spot. Also, that's where a lot of the fan-made concept jerseys and art comes from. It's a good read, but getting involved in the discussions is a crap shoot. They don't have a very good sense of humor over there unless you're in on the jokes.
