I thought Willy Caulie-Stein just had a jammed finger or something.

He's hasn't played since the 3rd of December and is about to miss his however manyith game, what the Deal is!?

There's no substance whatsoever in that article

I think this guy can be good

This guy is better than I expected

That guy oozes potential

This other guy can be good eventually

There's nothing to gain from reading this trash. Nothing in there tells me that either of these "experts" are even watching games, know anything about basketball or do anything besides collect tweets and piece them together. Garbage

Agreed. Why is ESPN charging users for someone's opinion. Where is the data to back this up?

Also, is everybody really this low on Okafor??

But hey look on the bright side...

Mudiay isn't "afraid to take risks". That alone makes him a future great and better than Russell.

Pelton also worked for the Pacers.
did you enjoy it?

cuz it really sucked last night tbh

it was an open dislocation of his finger

saw him working out before the game tho, apparently it was his first time getting work in since hurting the finger

It was dislocated, projected to miss 4-6 weeks. At first I thought it was reported as a compound fracture

Either way sounds about right that he hasn't played yet

What do you mean he had the keys snatched away from him

There was a game where it got heated between him and malone on the sidelines towards the end. Ever since then I noticed other players like Gallo and harris being given more opportunities to run the offense and mudiay getting less minutes and getting benched more often when he would mess up. Before that it was like nash in phx where the ball would constantly find its way into his hands multiple times on the same possesion. He was having some high assist games and it seemed like he was passing the ball 2 or 3 times every possession. I don't know if there's a stat for it but I would bet he averaged a very high number of passes in addition to high usage. But since then the offense hasn't ran thru him so much and jameer nelson has been the go to guy

how's his defense? can he at least fall back on that?

Not great from what I've seen and his coach also called him out on it. He has times where he really gets after it and looks solid so maybe it's a byproduct of being asked to do so much for the team.

I'm not low on any of Towns, Lativa, Russell, Mudiay or Okafor

I believe all 5 of them have the potential to be All-Stars at some point

It was evident in summer league, Okafor was going to score points. But it was also evident he was also a bad defender, mediocre rebounder, and would get his shots blocked.

damn the Hawks sent THJr to the D-League

still don't know how Phil got a 1st rounder for him

Better yet, why did Bud think trading away a first for Hardaway Jr. was a good idea. He's barely even played which makes the trade look even worse.

I gain much more insight from nters than I do from ford and pelton, deadass

I don't what you're talking about Pelton's work revealed lots of interesting little details especially when it comes to his draft projection model.

His model revealed a bunch of insight over the years.

- The fact that FT%, and 3PA are better indicators of NBA 3 point shooting potential is
- high turnover rates for rookie PG's are positive indicators of future potential.
- how predictive high college steal rate is for future NBA potential.
- howcollege defensive rebound percentage and steal rate are counter intuitive predictors of NBA success.

Also his model been really good at sniffing out 2nd round steals, had Nikola Jokic, had draymond green if i remember correctly both were top 10 in his warp projections.

Royce Young@royceyoung

Russell Westbrook wins Western player of the week. Marcin Gortat wins it in the East. Westbrook averaged 28.0 ppg, 8.8 apg and 7.3 rpg. 1h

Didn't predict Gortat would ever win this even if it's only for a week. Probably has a lot to do with Wall's surge

Oh Damn, crazy he did that on the court.

Jesus Christ, glad he's back or close to back though, SAC could use that length.

Let's take it to the polls Big J!

Who will have the better career

-Manny

-DeAngelo

And the pure and utter deciimation of their roster.

I mean, last week they had like 8 guys in uniform and the other 5 were in suits, like Street Clothes

yup, that D is missed for sure.

WCS this season has def been an under the radar rookie with his versatility on defense

Voted D'Angelo. Despite his early struggles, he looks like he has a great feel for the game. Excited to see what he can do next season with Kobe out of the picture.
