Draymond deserved to win DPOY last year (Kawhi missed 18 games). He's easily one of the best and most versatile defenders in the league. Blake isn't terrible on that end, but he's not in the same stratosphere as Draymond on defense.

He's gone at trade deadline.
KD looked him off twice to pass to Payne, and once he barely got the pass to Payne and could have easily tossed to the open Dion, but nah. He gave it to Payne for the corner 3 and Payne knocked it down.

meanwhile that is good, he doesn't play aggressive enough for the contract he's gotten. Maybe I'm just expecting a bit too much from him but that's because I believe he can be a much better player. He is young but he isn't consistent as an all around player. But that's probably bc he isn't, yet?
