The irony of Taj Gibson calling us trash when his team is spiraling out of playoff contention  :rolleyes

Updated head to head stats for Chris Paul and Lillard.

tbh im surprised _ame is shooting 38% from the trey. i thought it would be much lower.

Nah, Chris Paul is too short to defend from long distance. Pretty sure Steph is shooting like 50% from 3 on his stumpy self.

If CP3 was 6'4" tho he'd be the Kawhi Leonard of PGs. Right now he's like the Luke Walton of PGs.

Interesting story on how Nike lost Curry to UA

Strachan recalls of 2013, "That summer, when it was really decision time, [Nike] were looking at Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis coming up. They gave Kyrie a camp and they gave Anthony Davis a camp. They didn't give Steph a camp."

The pitch meeting, according to Steph's father Dell, who was present, kicked off with one Nike official accidentally addressing Stephen as "Steph-on," the moniker, of course, of Steve Urkel's alter ego in Family Matters. "I heard some people pronounce his name wrong before," says Dell Curry. "I wasn't surprised. I was surprised that I didn't get a correction."

It got worse from there. A PowerPoint slide featured Kevin Durant's name, presumably left on by accident, presumably residue from repurposed materials. "I stopped paying attention after that," Dell says. Though Dell resolved to "keep a poker face," throughout the entirety of the pitch, the decision to leave Nike was in the works.

In the meeting, according to Dell, there was never a strong indication that Steph would become a signature athlete with Nike. "They have certain tiers of athletes," Dell says. "They have Kobe, LeBron and Durant, who were their three main guys. If he signed back with them, we're on that second tier."

 at Steph-on

Billy Donovan experiment failed too. CAL, Izzo and Krwszxkwskdhejeheuri better just stay in college

Has there been a high profile college coach that's succeeded in the NBA? Brad Stevens is the only one I can think of. I guess Larry Brown, but he's had so many jobs that I can't even count him.

But Pitino, Cal, Mike Montgomery, etc. have all been busts at the pro leve.

Dude should almost get fired for that. Not just because Steph became who he was, but because they couldn't get the basic things right. Like pronouncing an American name & reviewing the powerpoint. Inexcusable.

It's early but Quinn Snyder is developing into a good head coach (Missouri).

SVG used to coach Wisconsin if that counts.

Fire Paxson and Gar, get someone in the front office that knows what the hell they're doing!

Do you honestly believe the issue is with management? It's a personnel issue and you won't hurdle that hindrance by just cleaning up management.

Like you said Hank:

I haven't been following the Bulls very much this season.

Trust me, if we had a competent front office we would be able to put a better personnel product on the court.

We should've blew the team up last year after the playoff loss to the Cavs but the FO decided to make Thibs the scapegoat for our failures. Instead of blowing it up, they went ahead and brought everybody back then gave them a college head coach as if that would solve the problems. Now look at us, pathetic.

Clean house upstairs, bring in some guys who actually know what they're doing, and everything else will start to fall in place.

Quinn Snyder looks like a movie villain anytime I see him

IDK why, but picturing D Rose on a different team is weirder to me than imagining almost any other player changing teams. Like, I have a less hard time imagining Kobe in something other than a Lakers jersey. Just seems like he should be a Bull.
