he used to hate on lebron hard if hes the same dude i think it is.  dont know why hes overcompensating now

Clyde remembers.

In Lebrons Heat heyday, there was maybe 3-5 of us who would even say anything negative about Lebron. It was

"Lebron is Jordan"

" Lebron is way better than Kobe"

"Larry Bird isn't anywhere near the same class as Lebron"

Dudes were loving them some Lebron and if you tried to temper it down historically, you were a supreme hater.

Now it's the exact opposite

Cabs definitely aren't winning, but they sure as hell aren't winning without Love this year.

Maybe they can get stronger without him and come harder next year but this year, he's going to be there, and they will want it so as well.

My man You literally been on Lebron's sack since HS jump off already lol

You said you didn't like the way he carried himself in HS

17 year old high schooler and you already hated him.

Hating on kids

cavs aint winning cuz this is the year of the thunder .

The reality is this, and Zach Lowe alluded to it earlier this week.

The Cavs are contenders in a league right now that has two historically great contenders. The odds of them winning are slim. Will they win a ring? Probably not. But making the finals gives them a shot.

Like I said, y'all may not value making the finals and losing but teams (including the cavs) would kill to make the finals and hopefully, get a little lucky and win a ring. So from that standpoint, you have to understand why the Cavs are to a degree bending over backwards for Lebron. Running a franchise isn't easy, especially when you're trying to maximize the prime of an all time great.

I'm not okay with the way Bron and the Cavs handled the situation with my man blatt but if you're the cavs what do you do?

Maybe he isn't "the best player in the the NBA anymore"

but he's still a walking trip to the NBA Finals. Despite what NT's belief on LBJ is, you can't really quantify what that does for an organization.

Being a walking-triple double doesn't qualify you to hijack an organization. His mystique has waned. He's not the NBA phenom he was touted as being in his early years. We have seen this man pout in defeat twice as many times as we've seen him hoist a trophy in celebration on the biggest NBA stage yet he still maneuvers as if he is an irreplaceable talent. Cavs should call his bluff and shop him around. We've seen Lebron's best days already.

bingo. his days as a walking trip to the finals are numbered. people keep living in the past with lebron and acting like its still 2k13

Somehow,

I have a feeling that if a 31 year old Lebron James was on your team, the team that you ran, you would have a different outlook.

It isn't as easy as you think. If he really is hijacking that situation it's ****** up, but like...what's the alternative? The Cavs haven't won...ever. This is their moment to get lucky. You have to compromise man.

"He's not the nba phenom" blah blah blah he's still good enough to give you a real chance at winning it all by making the finals. Ultimately, it's about how much the cavs value that? You may not value that that much, but they, and a lot of other franchises in the league do.

Let Blatt finish the season and see where you stand in the offseason??........

even lebron wouldnt agree with you guys. hes said he rather not even make the finals if hes just going to lose. even he knows the irrelevance of being the loser in a finals series

Right. I agree. I actually like Blatt.

But if Lebron is bringing you finals appearances and he, (And others. Because it really wasn't just him that wasn't rocking with David. That is getting lost here. The ENTIRE TEAM didn't rock with him) doesn't want blatt there anymore, what do you do?

You compromise with your superstar HoF talent that's still in his prime.

They are first in the east presently, and as long as they stay healthy, most would presume that they'll be in the finals again.
are they the best team in the league ? are they going to win?  answer that with no excuses. if they lose i dont want to hear " well they lost to a better team so its okay" are they the best team in the L?

Bro it's only been 42 games

 who knows man.

They are setting themselves up for a great chance at winning by being in the finals however. That has value. That is a real, tangible chance at winning it all, no matter how small that chance may be to you

As much as I can't stand Kobe, I can at least say something positive about him sometimes. The Lebron hate is weird and sad   it's like he lined up everyone's mother and smacked them across the face when y'all were toddlers, causing y'all to be completely traumatized

Yeah lets get rid of Lebron, so we can be a proud 35 win team....." **** Lebron and being a contender, Im not going to let him hijack my organization."

Where they do that at :x

he hasnt won though. its like the early 2000s. you know whoever comes out the east is getting smashed.  i never heard anyone hyping up the nets making the finals . we already know what the outcome is going to be. so is it really that special to make it out the east. i would say no.

Lebron isn't this he's on your team your going to the finals guy anymore. He has to have all the right pieces in place and he has to be in prime form which he isn't anymore. As good of a player he was I still think people don't give the heat organization, Wade and bosh enough credit for him winning. Now we gotta watch everyone else get the blame year after year when he loses or him get the praise when they win. If I'm a coach I'm not even taking that job, your basically signing up to be a assistant coach.
