I agree here.  I like LBJ.  I'm also a Warrior fan haha (puts on helmet).  I think Lebron will obviously go down as one of the greats but I also see why he is one of the most hated.  I blame immaturity, social media covering his every move, and ESPN (they love this guy).

he loves himself
was told he was chosen1 and he took it and ran with it
all guys have an ego but this guy is on another level

i don't know he really ranks among the greats ....

Like yes he was the youngest, but MJ was the fastest ....

Yes he was more efficient, but he never took the game over (Early on) .....

He went to the finals 6 times, but lost 4 and 2 were with arguably some of the NBA's players ....

Yes he drove to the hole, but cry/flop and got a call the majority of the time ....

Yes he played for his coaches, but he never listen to his coaches and/or embraced them ....

Yes he made decisions, but the majority bad for his image ....

Yes he wants to be in his mount Rushmore, but why, if he dont like the critics to compare ....

When he won he took all the credit, when he lost he shifted all the blame ....

He had no choice to accept defeat, but he critize the opponent for easier schedules ..

I mean I can go on ... this guy might look good in stats book but to the historians he will go down as the man that almost could but never could ....

Let's not forget how happy they were about the direction the franchise was going a few years ago when they started making moves to bring in the players they have now.

The fact of the matter was, we all thought Larry Ellison was going to buy the team and given his history, money would be no object and we would be relevant damn near overnight.

Also, Lacob had a history prior to being the show and not one of us wanted him to be that. Put a winning team together and get out of the way. To his credit, he did just that and shied away from direct spotlight.

Lacob, to many, was also criticized for the David Lee deal...I get why and how it got done and as it turns out David Lee had plenty of Warrior fans (not me)...

True.  But what great athlete isn't this arrogant?  MJ was running around calling himself "Black Jesus."  Kobe was pretty arrogant as well.  I think that's what makes them who they are.  They have to have that side to them.  I also feel like Lebron is part of the younger generation that has been sucked into social media/instant gratification/putting everything out there.  Everything he does is broadacasted either by the media or himself.  It's like when a movie star or musician comes out and you see them everywhere.

New age of basketball...new breed of basketball players.  80s, 90s and early 00's were the golden eras.  Now I see why they want kids to go to college even if they have the talent to jump to the league.  You have to have your head on right, especially if you are headed to stardom.

You saw this with Lebron super early on especially with "The Decision,"  how he handled interviews after losing to Dallas, making fun of Dirk during the Finals, etc.  I know Kobe was labeled as a weirdo and not really a good teammate early on (maybe still haha).

If you dissect all of the greats and point out all the negatives then yea, you could go on and on.  LBJ is going to be the most scrutinized athlete because of the era we are currently in.  He did bring some of it on to himself, for sure.

you have talented superstars in this league that can act the same way, but they DONT!

You're pretty naive if you believe the narrative that's being put out. Bron didn't explicitly go to management this year and say fire him but....it was NO secret he didn't like Blatt. Fact of the matter is he's only won when he's been held accountable. His entire life. Cleveland won't succeed the way they're currently handling things

kobe with the sweet block on timmy last night. gonna miss these two legends when they are gone

kawhi :pimp:

Duncan and Steph went to college and Dirk grew up in Europe (I think he might have played professionally beforehand????) so all 3 came in to the league somewhat mature already.  I am just saying, is there any other NBA superstar under the microscope the way LBJ is??? Everything he does is broadcasted for everyone to see.  I totally agree with what everyone is saying in that he has made some big mistakes that he is paying for as we speak.

I'm surprised that Blatt lasted this long.  I thought he'd be gone the first skid during the first year. And let's be honest, the Cavs weren't going to win with Blatt.  The job was too big.

Can't argue with you on that list bro....although, if Lebron had a baby with a stripper (PG) do you know what the media would/could have done with that story????

everything is broadcaster because

WAIT FOR IT!!!!

BECAUSE

HE WANTS TOOOOOOOOOOOO - Nothing he says, he is forced to say .... He say those things because he means them .. Just think if he didn't think about trying to clean up his thoughts and said them raw ... SMH ......

Only when pressure from his comments arise, then he flips and say thats not what he intended to say ...

1. because he has asked for the attention.

2. because he is married

3. because he has tried to paint a better picture of himself ....

Dudes are using the term superstar loosely.
lol ...

So

Paul George is not a superstar?

KL is not a superstar?

Steph Curry is not a superstart?

AD is not a superstar?

KD is not a superstar?

get out of here bruh ...

you must think you need to be a loud mouth prick to be a superstar ..

Guess Harden, Dwight , CP3, etc are superstars ..... LMAO

Lillard is that lame junior in high school that can't find a date to homecoming so he posts a selfie on IG and lists all the reasons why girls are missing out. Then all his friends leave his senior year and he's stuck kicking it with freshman.
I lol'ed
This is a perfect description for him, subtract the IG post and actually getting a freshman date and you have McCollum too

SuperStars in my eyes

KL

PG

KD

AD

SC

etc .....

But yeah you can throw Duncan and Dirk .. What's wrong with that?

Point Blank Lebron is a cancer and I can't wait for him to be gone from the league .....
agreed. The nba will be at a better place when dude is gone.

I'm not saying the things that he says...I agree with you.  I'm saying everything is broadcasted for everyone to see meaning everything Lebron does, we as a society get to see.  I don't care what Lebron is doing in his spare time, what time he drops his morning deuce, if he uses ALL or Tide, etc.  ESPN would put what Lebron had for breakfast on the sportsticker if they wanted to.

Durant and Steph are superstars.

Anthony Davis and George are close, Kawhi is not one.

Also you must've missed Durants media pout sessions or Paul George's stripper deal.
