Let it also be noted, that there are only 3 lineups in the entire NBA who have played more than 500 minutes together, of course there aren't 5 teams with a better dfrtg.

So yes, Thunder is top 3 in that regard. #1 of 3 teams who qualify

You could run the numbers for 200 minutes and it's the same. Now it's up to you to decide how real that number is. Are they just feasting on bad teams? Are they getting lucky? Is that lineup fresher? Is it that the alternatives (dion, morrow, etc.) are just that bad? Doesn't mean the numbers are 100% useless.

It means SOMETHING because the same exact lineup with anyone else but him is awful defensively.

It means something in that he may be their best defensive option, I'm not arguing that. Best option is just that, best option(defensively), doesn't mean good, just better than the backup.

Run the numbers for 200 minutes or any minutes as you say and this does not make them a top 3 def rated team even then.

He does not make up their best lineup. He may make up their best "defensive" lineup, that I won't argue.

But add that best defensive lineup to the other side of the ball for offense and he is not part of the Thunders best lineup.
