I'm not James Bond so idk what he's saying. Please fill me in. k
I would, but it would just look like a bunch of ****, so what's the point?
why was Blake being such a jerk to Malone

also, Malone>Doc

but I mean, they came out and said they wanted the 16-0 record. Dray and Steph both said that every player on the team wanted the record. So if that's the case, I'm sure they also believe and want, if it becomes an attainable goal, the 72+ season.

i mean they had 67 wins last year and this team is better, I'm sure they believe and want the record. It's all encompassed. It's not just one thing they want, they want it all, to win, to break records, to have fun, etc.
Yea, I'm not really down to debate whether they do or don't care.

You've heard them say they want it.

I've heard them say it doesn't matter, but it's a nice achievement.

I digress all over the mother loving place on this one bruh.

They care, done.

Malone >>> wish he came here

Flip wasn't trying to give up the job. Malone was in our practices a few times last year

Kinda starting to look at Malone sideways. He was getting into it with Mudiay right after the blake thing. He lets mudiay do whatever he wants and then criticizes him afterwards, not surprised that muddy had the nerve to boss up on him. Maybe the kings know something no one else does....

Why were the Kings such jerks to Malone? You guys would have been in the 4 seed this season.
honestly, it was Pete that was straight up a **** to Malone. Literally cost him his job because of it. Ironic they work in Denver again, albeit not in the same coach-gm relatioship.

I didn't mean for the Malone>Doc thing to sound like a shot sorry man, was just curious about what happened in that altercation and what Blake had said to Malone.

Hope you're having a great day @erupt107th

My only concern is whether Thunder plays Defense tonight.

Nothing else matters. Work, the old ladys fence, Thanksgiving, nothing.

"the fence is gone......Whaaaaaaaaaat"

Im off today and don't have to go back hntil Tuesday. I'm having a splendid day. Malone is better than Doc doe. I was asking a serious question

From what I've heard Malone said something to Blake. Blake said something about the hck a dj and he got a tech. Then the very first play the Nuggets decided not to foul DJ we ran a set to get him a lob. After he dunked it Blake, who was in the corner 3pt line next to the Denver bench, walked by malone and gve em a good ol "Eff you You effing bee". Malone forgot who he was and thought for a second that trying to fight Blake was a good idea until his team held him back.

So the short version.

Blake was mad they kept fouling DJ when it wasn't helping them at all.
I think Malone may have said something about the Clippers running a lob play when Denver had clearly given up.

that sounds like good ole fiery Malone

and holy smokes 6 days off?!?! I'm jelly.

But to answer your question about the Kings, I think the owner Vivek was trying to finally let go and let the GM at the time (Pete) do his job, uninhibited and without Vivek's meddling. And it turns out Pete is a raving lunatic who holds grudges like a petty little 13 year old girl and his first true power move was to fire Malone

which led to the debacle that was last year's Kings season. And eventually Pete lost his job for that power move and Vivek went back to meddling, hiring a coach (Karl aka @CP1708) before a GM (Vlade) AGAIN.

All in all, different ownership, same ole Kings gonna Kings

It's February 2009. The Boston Celtics are reigning NBA champions, and trying to repeat with an aging core led by three stars on the wrong side of 30. One of those players is Kevin Garnett.

This was Garnett's 14th NBA season. As such, Boston coach Doc Rivers was more concerned about keeping KG fresh for the playoffs rather than pushing him every day. So Rivers came to Garnett and told him he would not be practicing on this fine February afternoon. It did not go over well.

ESPN's Jackie MacMullan recounts Garnett's reaction, which was to essentially mimic replacement Leon Powe up and down the court until Rivers canceled practice.

Garnett, forbidden to take the floor by his own coach, had concocted his revenge: He would track the movements of power forward Leon Powe, the player who had replaced him in the lineup. As Powe pivoted, so did Garnett. As Powe leaped to grab a defensive rebound, Garnett launched himself to corral an imaginary ball. As Powe snapped an outlet pass, Garnett mimicked the motion, then sprinted up his slim sliver of sideline real estate as Powe filled the lane on the break. The players were mirror images: one on the court with a full complement of teammates, the other out of bounds, alone. Two men engaged in a bizarre basketball tango.

"KG," Rivers barked, "if you keep doing this, I'm canceling practice for the whole team. That will hurt us."

Rivers would cancel practice, but this story exists as a prime example of Garnett's legendary competitiveness and relentless attitude toward preparation. Powe summed it up well:

"'What is he doing?' That's what we were saying," Powe recalls today. "And at that point you start wondering, Is KG maybe a little crazy after all?

Orlando's rebuild has been underwhelming anyway, I don't think Skiles is the problem. What is this year 4 since dwight got bounced? They're the same team as last season +mario
they look like a potential  first round and out team for years to come . promising future.
The Lakers future is sure looking bright right now tho huh ....magic >>>>>>>>>>sixers>>>>>>>d-fenders>>lakers

Que the Garnett drinking water and spitting it up into the air and getting on Ray, Tyronn Lue and Rondo laughing. For Powe asking is he crazy after all.
