This is KD. ELITE off the ball player, probably the 3rd best shooter in the league, terror in transition, great passer, unselfish overall player. Underrated defender and if he didn't have to carry such a burden on OKC, he'd play more 4. This isn't some random all star being thrown into this warrior system. His skills and mindset translate perfectly.

Talent on the level of Kevin Durant, steph curry etc. supercede fit

So while not messing up something good is a noble concern for the warriors, Kevin duarnt is a generational talent and in my eyes a top 5 most skilled basketball players ever. The warriors would be just as good if not better with durant

So if you have an opportunity to get a kevin durant you do it in my eyes
 
Two point blank layups missed by amare just now, would have been thunderous dunks not too long ago...

i think most teams would like durant, cuz they dont have talent on the level of durant.... gsw does. u said it urself they supercede fit. except, the warriors system is built around steph and the attention he brings along with him having a permanent greenlight inside of half court. u cant have two player in the system doing that. kd is a player u build around, not insert into a rotation around another generational talent. 

warriors are near perfect where they are. the only direction to move is down.

agreed. i strongly disagree with shoeking on this one. your the best team already . making a move is silly right now. i wouldnt take a chance messing it up to try get to better. how  does the best team get better. or why do they even need to get bettter. nah. gsw should pass on kd . they dont need to get better on offense and kd is food on d.

First time i ever agreed with chris broussard, the knicks need a real star on their team like durant. Even though its not going to happen. Just like olympic basketball melo is at his best when he plays off an elite player that dominates the ball and he picks his spots.

the Knicks won't be in the Durant sweepstakes unless we a) trade Lopez or b) Lopez accepts a bench role.

and i really dont see why durant would want to go to washington . the wizards arent that good at all.  Its going to be crazy to see where he decides to go.  how many teams are really going to interest him. I cant imagine that many.

No I said talent like Durant and Steph Curry supercede fit.

As in, its going to work. They are that good. Players that great figure it out and flourish. The Warriors system is built around steph and the attention that he brings, and the greenlight that you alluded to him having.

With KD that would obviously be a bit different and there would be an adjustment, but it would be a minor one. KD is going to flourish anywhere, with anyone let alone with a guy like Steph Curry, or Klay Thompson, or Draymond. Great players, or players that great rather, figure it out.

And finally, KD is a player that you build around. So is steph. What you're missing is that they are such great shooters, that you could build around both of them. They are that great.

The Warriors are near perfect, as you correctly said. However, you can always get better and I'm sorry we'll just have to disagree because you can't convince me that a team wouldn't benefit from having Klay / Steph / Durant / Draymond on the floor at the same time. 
 
Lol the warriors went from fools gold to a team that doesn't need kevin durant in less than a year.
