lebron gets slander to counter the praise he gets for making the finals in a super weak east

you cant get hyped up for making the finals in the JV conference yet when you lose it's okay because the other team is way better

That's why I don't understand the 2-4 Lebron slander when he really only **** off one of those NBA Finals appearances he didn't win. ( 2011 Finals)

Eff you can say he wasn't efficent in 2007 and 2015 but his teams were so overmatched in those series.
Right, people were acting like he was SUPPOSED to win in 2007 vs. The Spurs in his first finals appearance. Uhm, really? Was "he" supposed to win? I don't get it.

It just bothers me that the media uses that narrative so much that regular peopel regurgitate it as if it is a logical way to examine wins and losses.

how many times has someone replied you with that exact same sentence?

It's easier to apply a black and white approach to a team sport.

It's easier to sell "Lebron couldn't win" than saying The Cavs as a team weren't good enough. The former sounds easier and more tangible to handle

Nah, it is easier to apply a white and black approach to an INDIVIDUAL sport.

So many moving pieces and variables in a team sport that black and white don't even EXIST!

Did the shadowboxing bit, do Josh Smith in or was it already pretty much over in Clipperland?

Either way we get to hear several times during Rockets games that Dwight and Josh played on the same AAU team.

Doc never seemed to trust him from the start. They were going to cut him which just makes no sense unless he was being a cancer

there is such thing as player dna. no coach is going to make harden play differently , thats who he is . Same with the excuses that okc used to play iso ball cause of scott brooks.
I partially blame brooks but I also blame the bad luck of injuries on why OKC hasn't won one yet

The B/W approach is reasonable when comparing Lebron to another all time great like Jordan.

But theres some dudes who constantly parrot "2-4" 'He's overrated" 'Hes not successful"

Who's he overrated in comparison to? Jordan? Russell? Kareem?

Whoever he's overrated to, its a short list and among active players its a almost non-existent list.

At certain point, theres no need to constantly focus negative energy towards the guy and just enjoy greatness whether you personally like the player or not.

His demotion to getting mostly DNPs coincided with the Clippers winning a bunch of games, so how much of a cancer could he have been? But I guess the answer to that question is enough of one to get traded.

The day day Luc starts an NBA playoff game is the same day i wipe Doc's hair off his head. I'm done.

tbh he's probably a top 3 mid range shooter too
u think so? i dont pay attention to midrange enough to even rank em. i just know i try to emulate a lot of what cp3 does with my handles. ive come up with some crazy **** cuz of him. still cant get that fake bounce pass down tho.

If anyone would have said the Blazers would end up with 19 total wins, I think a lot of folks would have said they'd take the under

For them to have 19 at this point is pretty crazy
